Sitting in my kitchen

she drank my scotch

and beside her stood

her jar of tears.

She was wobbly

before leaving

with this strange man

but I feel ok about it for

I aint going to rush my life

and in this state I feel alert

watching for those

who want to knife me

or worse still

steal or scrounge

my whiskey.
