I was just thinkin' "WHAT in the world am I gonna do w/ALL my PP receipts that I just ordered last month???"  I ordered them B4 any announcement was made on this new Return Policy. (You DID know that the new receipts WON'T have a CS return addy on the backsides of them anymore???)

Throw them all away??? (4 me that'll be like 175 PP receipt sheets!!!)

If anyone knows me I HATE to throw good stuff out!! ESPECIALLY when I've PAID FOR THEM!!!

Sooooooo.....

I put my thinking cap on....& came up with what I thought was brilliant lil idea!!

Just put an Avery label (the 5160 layout...30 to a sheet) over the return addy on the backside with a phrase like "YOU MUST CALL THE NUMBER BELOW TO GET A MANDITORY REFERENCE # WHEN RETURNING ANY ITEM."
OR how about...
"YOU MUST CALL EITHER THE NUMBER BELOW OR YOUR KITCHEN CONSULTANT TO GET A MANDITORY REFERENCE # WHEN RETURNING ANY ITEM."

Lookin' at the upside of this, if they have to call you, then that's a PLUS in your direction. I mean how many times have we attempted to do some Past Customer follow up just to find out that they've either moved, had a change of email addy, phone #, or just plain don't have any other info on them other than their FIRST NAME!!

I can't tell you how frustrating that's been over my 5 years in PC when my hostesses can't or won't provide additional info like addies & phone #'s on her outside orders or especially w/my Cattie Hostesses!! I telll them that I need their info to fill out their receipts & STILL get nothing in return. I tell you, I think that's a policy I'm REALLY gonna try to change this new season!!

Anyhoot, getting back to the upside of THEM getting in touch w/YOU.... I really think this will work!! B/c now you have an "open door" to ask them if they'd be interested in knowing about Guest Specials, Host benefits, & even biz opps if the opp presents itself. Heck at least you'd be able to ask them for their email addy & give them yours as well as letting them know about YOUR PC.biz website, right???

Just my thoughts for whatever they're worth,
Marian

Hey, good thinking.  I have a ton of them too.  I think I may just do that.

Oh GREAT idea!  I wasn't going to throw mine out but was trying to decide what to do with them too!  I don't know why I never think about just doing lables?  I sit with that stupid stamp and do all my catalogs and then have to let them dry forever!  When all I should do is go grab a label!  I never think of doing things the easy way!

Great idea!  Be sure to put the labels on after printing your receipts so you don't gum up your printer.

Aughhhhh! (hits forehead with hand)  I never *thought* about that.  I'm getting more and more nervous about not changing old information on my documents or using out dated material.

You guys keep the reminders coming!

That is a wonderful idea! I just had thrown them away before. Now I don't have to. I am like you I cringed when I had to throw away good paper. They are great to use at shows so that guests and make their wish list on them.

What happens if we just use them as they are? I mean we all have 100's or 1000's of customers out there with the old receipts, they are still going to be sending things in the old way, right?

I have not seen anything about new PP receipts.  When was this announced?  Can you copy something and send me the write-up?... or tell me where it is?
