The Picture
 The pieces fit so perfectly
 And the picture you behold,
Bit by bit you lay them down
 And watch the scene unfold.
 At first scattered assortments
 Of every shape and size.
But everything you need to know
 Lies right before your eyes.
You may think you know just what
 This picture will portray,
You may think before you start
 Just what it will display.
For people though they have the parts
 They place haphazardly,
The view they hold within the mind
May not be as it be.
 For all must slot together
 Before you know what's right,
 And then to your amazement
 You see another sight.
 Not as first imagined,
 For what it does reveal,
Is not what some may state as fact
 Believing that it's real.
 All have their opinions,
 And their time they spend,
 Piecing bits together
To see what's at the end.
Yes, all lies there before you,
With all one needs to know,
 Be void of pre-conception
And watch the truth then grow.
Piece by piece all does come clear
 For every part will fit,
 And a view of understanding
 Is what it will depict.
