LEARNING One digests knowledge based upon ones own conceptual opinions as to how any piece of information fits into the belief pattern that one follows…this applies in all fields of learning. One need not be a musician to appreciate the joy of music…therefore one is experiencing that which music is designed and created for...however not all music resonates within…all have their own brands of flavours that add to the variety of tastes and preferences. Therefore people make choices as to which type/kind/style of music that they wish to listen to?they select that which ‘sounds?good to them…that has the ability to stir something within. At the end of the day music is but a series of notes that are arranged into a particular pattern for the various types/kinds/styles?therefore the same notes are available for every format…the notes that produce the classics are the same notes arranged differently to produce jazz/rock/country etc. The writers of such favour that which appeals to them and the audience they are attempting to ‘market?SPAN> Patterns of belief are likened to this?each one chooses that which ‘strikes a chord?within…that sounds good, that resonates within. With music one listens over a period of time and develops ones musical tastes, it is the arrangement of the notes that appeals to them, the way it is constructed into that particular piece that suits them…not the individual notes…but the overall sound…the finished product. However one can always write their own melody to create that tune that is their unique composition…and still enjoy the fruits of others works. Same with ones beliefs…enjoy and savour the different types/kinds/styles that come from the same basic ‘notes?and write for oneself that which vibrates as ones own truth within?for at the end of the day a good tune is a ‘good?tune no matter what musical category it fits into as a ‘good?belief is a ‘good?belief whatever track of thought that train runs on……?/STRONG> Received from Gideon By Topaz© |

Yes-Like I think most religions on earth, in the past, now, and wherever have the same 'notes'--just arranged differently for the various 'markets'!! Nicely put Gideon and thank you Topaz for bringing it to us. |

"You gotta make your own kind of music, Sing your own special song; Make your own kind of music Even if nobody else sings along." (performed by "Mama" Cass Elliot, written by Barry Manilo and Cynthia Weil.) What Gideon said made this song pop into my head, so I just had to go research the words to make sure I got them right! I ended up visiting her daughter's site. Cass was a great vocalist and a beautiful person. (And of course I just had to listen to the mp3 on the computer while doing it!) |

Hi Angel...Eva Cassidy is American....and became famous after her very premature death at I think 33...she was recorded live at her gigs and these were made into albums...over here she released Somewhere over the rainbow...made famous by Judy Garland...she also had a hit with a song which is one of my all times favs called Fields Of Gold...originally written and recorded by Sting...she is a stunning guitar player and has the voice of an angel that just holds me....xx |

YES! I've heard her "Over the rainbow"! In fact, I think it was her version they played in the Travolta/Cage movie "Face Off". Beautiful! I haven't heard her version of the Sting song, but have his on a mixed CD--imagine she did a fabulous job of it |

Yes ..Eva cassidy has the voice of an angel..I love listennig to her music. Actually it was you Topaz who introduced me to her music. Now I have three of her CD's which i love. Thank you. Now on another note Thank you Gideon and Topaz for your beautiful writing on learning. I hold this truth as my own. This brings to my thoughts that we all carry our own song to sing in our own way. I call it a song of the heart. Everyone has a beautiful song within themselves. All one has to do is to listen within as their own song blends in harmony to the love song of the Universe as One. Hey Topaz y ou are beauty... ....i see this writing has hit a cord with many...as it has wth me....i remember coming across the idea that every soul every heart has its own song to sing and that every song is origonal to the individual whose song it is i have a song it is like a river that flows to the sea ...it started many years gone by and rolls on to this daythe first lines though crazy were and are heart felt and perhaps the opening to my starting to sing my own heart......they were this....Rainbows flow from the nose to the toes of the one who grows.....it is the light within ...it is self ,......it is soul ..........and of itself it does sing .....shifting and swirling...twisting and curling weaving out lifes tapestry......it is life...... it is love it is you and me...............and if i may share an idea that is expressed in india on this matter...Krshna is often depicted as the flute player....and it is said that each note arising is the music of self creating the formative 3 dimensional world.... then returnig to the implicate.....and of course the silences punctuate the rythms....this i am reminded of because of your words on musical sound vibrations and the words that may accompany them..........with love and thanks....you were with me in the hospital i felt with love.......don TOPAZ GIDEON THANKS AND YO |
