EARTHLY ANGELS

A being who always takes people under their wing comes from the terminology of Guardian Angel.  It depicts that which comes from the old texts, meaning a Spirit of Pure Light who guards and protects and shelters as best, from harm.  Religious in origin and apt in description.  Upon earth there are those who do likewise., they too take under their wings the less fortunate, these people in human form whose caring natures provide the source of comfort, a refuge from harm for those who are unable to face the elements of everyday life without a supportive arm.  These are considered to be ‘Earthly Angels�?They do not go around spouting of all they do in society, they are the ones who are always there to be a listening ear, or who run to the assistance of anyone in need, to fight the cause of greater worth, to rally to the calls of friends and family, even a stranger in distress may just find an ‘angel�?by their side.  The poor, the starving, the sick, the victims of war torn countries, all need ‘Angels of Mercy�? to give hope, to provide security, not necessarily in a monetary fashion, but with the words of kindness and Love.   Not all are in the position where they can administer to the needy, not all are placed where the greatest of tragedy is occurring, but there are those that are always within arms reach for the ones that are part of their own intertwining circles of life.  What then is an ‘Earthly Angel’…a person who can bring what another needs at that time, whose help can bring about a change in circumstances, who shows care and consideration to someone who is frail or unhealthy, who can provide a ray of hope, someone whose words can provide a spark of positivity, someone who by their words can promote a greater feeling of Self-worth, esteem and confidence in another.  Only small things in comparison to the greater works that many do, but is just as beneficial when supplying what one person needs at that time…making a big difference to one.  One set of eyes of kindness looking into another’s whose are etched in pain, one pair of arms cradling another’s body, hands holding hands, a voice speaking directly and soothingly, a one to one contact in whatever circumstances.    This is how it is…one may not be able to do the things they wish with all their hearts for those areas most affected upon earth, however if one can just help, aid and assist someone, then they are giving that which is necessary for that one person.  They are giving of their Self all that lies within, the compassion and the empathy from one person to another.   So therefore, where-ever you may be, who knows when you may be called upon to give a ‘piece of your heart�?/FONT>
