I could tell you my love how I do feel,
With words as light and bright as a thousand stars.
I could speak to your heart with my utterances of devotion,
So deep and so real, fuelled with my emotion.
I could spend my days and my nights
Showing you what one soul holds for another,
From the pleasures of friendship, to the joys of a lover.
I could bring to you those gifts, like a look or a smile,
Or comfort your whims and soothe you awhile.
But when I do send from my heart to thine,
It’s not just my words or my actions in time,
It’s within the silence I do greatly speak,
Thoughts without language, on a wave you they reach.
It is within the emptiness of sound
And the passing of one Love to another,
That I tell you my love, that which I feel,
