So take the glass in your right hand
and fill it from the fountain crystal clear
intoxicated with the sight
while life's blood flows through your veins
For very soon the night will fall
and a velvet clock will cover all
come pitch your tent next to mine
and listen to the whistling of the wind
The child of peace still sucks it's thumb
while snuggled to the mothers breast
Oh! will you ever get your fill
and become a parent to the rest
Upon this earth we have to live
and in some way are made to give give
WHAT! everything I would say
you have to give your life away
And day and night this task is done
it cannot stop once it's begun
for like the law of gravity
we fall through time and destiny
