Out of the Shower Head
By Lori-ann
Standing in the shower Hot water sprays down In a cleansing stream Washing away sorrow pain and loneliness If only for the moment I watch these troubles Corkscrew down the drain A downward spiral That leaves me feeling Refreshed Somehow renewed A revelation comes To me From out of the shower head This disclosure An eye-opener Finds me lamenting It wasn’t the sadness I thought I felt That I had been taken For granted It was the fact That you stormed Back in my life And said “I love you?/FONT> then ran?. Away Again?/FONT> Copyright ©2004, Lori-ann Parker (April 25). All Rights Reserved
