Each one of us has a Shadow that carries all the memories of

what we are trying to break away from. Our addictions, excuses

self pity, our pain, and other dysfunctional behaviour. The Shadow

like the Spirit within, sees the changes and may feel threatened. After

all It’s the shadow that got us through our difficult times when we couldn’t do it ourself.

When we heal (invite) the shadow as a partner in our process, there is less fighting, and total cooperation.

Our Shadow is an integral part of who we are, and deserves the healing as well.

Hi there...Yes I like this...and in my opinion...based on this analogy, the shadow is the one that has had the experiences of those things that we have endured and therefore is equipped to deal with things as we meet them in life...if we embrace it and accept it..it will serve us well...for it is the shadow that has had to excercise the strength to bring us through those 'dark' moments...Topaz x

Tadaaaaaa yayyyyyy yes you are correct.....

Short story which will explains the silliness above.

When committed to accepting this path and understood what the spirits were teaching they would make a big thing out of it, like showing me parades, giving me flowers, confettie rain, lol Cartoon characters would do acrobats, anything to keep my interest and reward me to continue on.  lol   Hope you don't mind me doing the same,. it's sort of habit.

I haven't had human teachers, the spirits are all I have and they do indeed have a sense of humour.

Of course you can express in whichever way you feel...and merriment is a sign of lightheartedness...and if this is how your teachers spirits are with you then who are we to say any differently...Of course they have a sense of human and it is welcomed....I understand perfectly...Topaz x
