I've read about 5 one after the other, I devour them  they're real gritty mind, not for the faint hearted. So I told the woman in the library not to be giving you any Moeleen.

I love Martina Cole she is fantastic but very down to the bare bones - may be too graphic for some. Mandasue Heller is very similar to Martina Cole so I would recommend her as well.

I have just finished reading Night Fall by Nelson Demille - he is a brilliant author. It was about Flight TWA800 that exploded just off the US Coast after take off. It's based on a true story but given some literary licence. Would deffo recommend that as a can't put down, often witty read.

Am now reading latest Harry Potter lol

I've just ordered a couple of Martina Cole's books off Amazon, on your recommendations....can't wait fro them to come now!  If she is similar to Patricia Cornwall, then I'll like her.

Have just read The Graft by Martina Cole.... another good read

How did you go on with her Jo? As Day says she is worlds apart from Patricia Cornwell.

I think authors have to be dead to get into our library... I look out for lots of recommended books and rarely find them...
