I watch this show every Friday night where I live and enjoy it immensely. However, I'm not sure sometimes, if Derek is actually under the control of a spirit or is just a really good actor. What do you think? |

Hiya and thanks for links - bloomin hell - I had heard rumours about people disbeleiving Derek and about him being a showman etc and it sounds like it stems from that article. I dont know what to think - is it sour grapes because they didnt want Cieran on the show anymore? Cieran has also, whilst doing his suming up of events at the end each episode, given reasons for and against supposed paranormal activity that they have experienced and on occassions has said there are things he couldnt come up with an explanation for and they seemed genuine as he couldnt disprove them, so that would make me ask was he part of the facade when it suited him or was there no facade going on? Its hard isnt it to really know unless someone has gone through every episode Derek has been in and written down the names of every spirit Derek has then been taken over by and see if the anagram thing is true.......I dont have any episodes or I would do it lol...I do think Cieran sounds bitter though... I think part of the appeal of Most Haunted is that you are constantly asking yourself is it true or isnt it, can we beleive it or not? And deep down we'd like to think its true. What about Derek's doorstep divinations on Ghost Towns - they dont seem faked? Hmmm -a really good debate here - thanks Medusa - interested to hear everyone elses views. Spirit. |

Hi Did anyone watch Most Haunted Live last weekened from Portsmouth? What did you all think? I enjoyed this one more than the last, the new presenters made a difference for the better and they had quite a bit of activity. I like getting up the webcams to see if i can spot anything. Going back to discussions about Cieran O'Keefe who made comments about MH and Derek A being fakes etc, its strange how he was still taking part in Most Haunted Live? I wonder if what he said was taken out of context or if he said those things after all? Or if he did then he appears to be a bit hypocritical if hes still happy to take part in a show that is rigged (according to him?) Hmm? What does everyone else think? |

I miss Derek too, he was by far better than the new medium, I can never remember his name... Is it David Wells? Anyways, do you watch Derek's new show? |

Hi Paigepru - so nice to see you :) Yes, the new medium is David Wells - i'm warming to him now but its just not the same without Derek....I keep watching the old episodes where Derek and David are both invited to the same locations and its quite good seeing them working together and the fact that after one has gone in and investigated, when the other is brought in they pick up the same energies of spirits as each other. The reasons ive added new articles on Most Haunted recently is because the haunted places are nearby where I live so i find that all quite interesting lol....not sure if im brave enough to go and visit Salmesbury Hall just yet though... Good luck with your new forum by the way - its really good - I've been on it a quite a few times, theres so much to learn I'm not sure where to start...but i've got plenty of time to learn . Hope you are keeping well and enjoying the lovely hot spell we are having at the moment. Best wishes |

Hiya D (Hope its ok to call you that) Hey so you are big Most Haunted fan like me and some of our members - you have great taste lol. The programme does get alot of flack but it also has alot of fans! I watched an episode just this morning about a place they called the Ghost House in Notts, where the owners didnt want the name of their home made known. It was quite a good episode. Yes I love Derek too and really thought Most Haunted wasn't the same without him. But I have to say that now, I think David Wells is really doing a good job and he is so accurate aswell. The only thing i wish they would change is, when they go to places that have haunted bedrooms, that they stay the night there, the day before the actual investigation and then report their findings. I wish that Kieran O'Keefe would do that actually lol. What has been your fav episode? and what do you think of the Most Haunted Live weekend shows? Great to hear from you, hope your having a good weekend.. |
