The Ancient House, Suffolk

This is a very very old listed building in the town centre of Ipswich which is now a shop (I am from Ipswich but now live in Merseyside).

It is full of beams, low ceilings and carvings in the woodwork - its quite strange to shop in a place which has so much character and is so old and quaint.  I have read various articles on the Ancient House and obviously have been past and inside the building on lots of occassions. I didn't know until now however about its haunted background..........it did cross my mind but I had never heard any stories until now.
