My Top Tips for capping phenomena caught on webcams
Make sure you have a paint programme open and minimised on your desktop taskbar (Start/programs/Accessories/Paint in Windows)
When you are viewing your chosen ghost webcam keep your finger above the Print Screen on button your keyboard and when you think you have spotted something press it quick!!
Next minimise the webcam and restore the paint programme, make sure there is a blank/untitled document open and press the following keys Ctrl & V to paste your screen shot. You can then crop it to size and save-as and title it. Another way which takes a few seconds longer is to simply right click the webcam image and save-as it straight to your desktop.
If you intend to share you captures I recommend using a file/image host to store all your caps for free (and save your own hardrive space). I like to use Photobucket. You can then provide links to your photobucket album for easy sharing/viewing of your caps! http://www.photobucket.com/
I recommend you just take lots of snaps whenever you think you see something and sort through them afterwards. A good way to check if what you are seeing is real or a trick of the light compare your caps to the live web cam image to see if the image has disappeared since you snapped it or whether its still there? I use my mouse cursor and position it on whatever im seeing to see if it moves from where my cursor is...
Don't always expect to just see something obvious such as a full body clear sighting as often you will see faces which materialise slowly..sometimes you can spot spirits hiding in the furniture or curtains. You are more likely to get better caps if you view the webcams in the evening or late at night.
Make viewing your capped images easier by slighty enlarging them by using the select tool in Paint choosing Image, Stretch/Skew.
