I have doubts since I have smelt the scent of Spring’s sweet Roses bloom,
That I could ever get enough of something - heaven scent;
Yet I would swim an ocean deep,
Climb mountains that are far too steep,
Dry eyes that do no more than weep,
To drown in your perfume.
I have no fear of love except that it may pass me by,
Yet hope has springs eternal that will always come to pass;
Such beauty do I see in you,
A heart so sweet, and warm and true,
A love to last a whole life through,
To see you I would cry.
If I could capture all the love I feel this night sweetheart,
And mould it into something for forever;
The stars above would wither and their sparkle fade away,
The beauty of this Earth would simply fall into decay,
The mountains on the moon would never seem so far away,
To be with you - and never be apart.
