Mistress of Dreams Love is life to all who share Her secrets and her dreams, And only those who bear this gift Shall find her love in dreams; She lingers on between the grains Of time which gave her breath, Defeating non existence Through a balanced life and death. She glows with love, her satin gown Seems made from virgin snow, And those devoted to her cause Shall feel her loves?light glow. Entombed within this cell of dreams, A victim of the dawn, Each sleeping eye that greets the night Allows her to be born. A mistress to each wanting heart, Caressing those in grief, She pays respect - brings comfort to All those who seek relief. Though moulded by subconscious thought, Her body forms in flesh, She holds the fragile tender souls Whose spirits need refreshed. In dreams we pay respect to her, Her gown in virgin white Holds promise of her loveliness Our Dear Lady of the Night. July 7th, 1977 ¤Aü§Póꆙ¤ View My Guestbook Sign My Guestbook |
