This page contains work that I have kept in rejected manuscript form for many years. It is important to realise that rejection is a writers friend. It makes us work harder to uncover the essence of what makes us individuals. Each of these poems has, to some extent, been edited and rewritten from my original youthful efforts.
I hope you enjoy the results. Let me know if, as a young person, you related to these feelings. I would hate to think that I'm the only one who experienced these feelings,...these dreams. That would indicate that I am indeed funny....funny meaning strange ....
These poems represent my teenage years.
As adulthood loomed menacingly, the struggle to accept responsibility
was taking a rather heavy toll on a young lad fearful of what this might mean.
This page is bright....for all futures can be so.......if we want them to be.
