?/FONT>hê §?/FONT>Ag I am of the forest: My realm a fortress of trees Shrouded in mist, cloaked in silence. Here I graze, with eyes and ears in tune to change; Ever watching; Ever listening. I am of the earth: My crown in velvet draped Tall and firm, leafless branches whispering. Here I stand, alert to cracking twigs and leaf litter’s rustle; Ever proud; Ever defiant. I am the father: My herd, my subjects and my blood Calmed by my presence, safe in my sight. Here I rule, though not by sword and shield I fight; Every danger, Every night. I am the noble: My kingdom bathed in dappled light Breathes freedom, gives sanctuary. Here I remain, steadfast to hold ancestral ground; Ever strong; Ever free. 1st October, 2004 View My Guestbook Sign My Guestbook |
