Perpetual Dreams I come to you, in fragrant moments
of perpetual dreams,
A man in search of loveliness,
devoid of armour, yet rich in faith it seems;
For in the sparkle found
Within the depths of your brown, bewitching eyes,
I’ve seen such beauty
that all else lacks credence
Hence, all else my heart defies.
Such moments in my waking hours
are perfumed,
With you the subtle scent of every thought;
Your eyes so large and sensuous
Gaze through me,
And pierce the very flesh of which I’m wrought.
Your crown of dark hair beckons to be fondled,
Your tender lips whose smile a star would wish,
Fills every minute of my waking moments
With such love, that god himself
could not, but cherish.
