Was There! I was there?when they pierced His hands... I watched as they lifted high, I heard Him sigh... I was there to see the tears, form in His Eyes... as He looked, one last time... upon His mothers face... I was there. I was there?when they thrust Him threw?/STRONG> when they, brought Him down from Gall Goths?place... I was there?when they washed His bloody body... I can still see, the marks and scars, the bruises... many. Oh, My?God, My God... What have we done! I was there... the day they hung Him upon, my cross... I was there, for we are ONE. Were you there? Prophet. |

Thoughts: I believe we were ALL there. Even the adversary was there. A good question might be, "Do you remember?" I'm not talking about reincarnation... The reason reincarnation was ruled-out at the Council of Nicea by one vote was actually because most of these were already without the Holy Spirit. Nonetheless, GOD prevailed in their decision making process enough to rule out this Gnostic concept spawned of Eastern Mysticism. Consider the astounding words of the Apostle when he said, And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham. For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him. So it should be suffice to say that Levi was there also. It would bring me to wonder at the words of our LORD and SAVIOUR Who asked the following of Job: Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof; When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy? This much I know: There is a difference between soul and spirit. Prophecy is remembering the future whereas we are told that His story is the account of what we understand to be the past. Every soul that ever lived must die and even the soul of the Almighty One died for want of sacrifice on a cross; but the Spirit never dies. As it is written: For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. (Hebrews 9) *** I remember where I was when I held His hand and walked with Him as a child walks with a father, even at the right hand of His glory. I remember where I was when He reached into my heart and placed His mark and His word in that very place... Where we spoke without utterance and I understood with all clarity and perceived all things perfectly... Where He spoke without utterance and told me all my questions were answered... And where I dared to wonder where I should not have wondered to utter even a single word... For my lips were unclean, yet He did receive me. May the LORD have mercy on my soul! I no longer have cause to wonder about those things and I pray that I shall never wonder again concerning them. If the world only knew how merciful He is! I leave you with this also to ask the same of you... Were you there? |
