Lisa, I verily believe what is written in the volume of the Book. What God has called "two wives" numerous times throughout the scripture is the truth. Rome was the culprit that robbed the men of God of their power and authority to lead us to believe a lie and to condition us over 1600 years to call the good evil and the evil good. Despite their twisted tactics there are still women in the world today who rejoice in the knowledge that they have a sister wife and welcome the extra help around the house. They are not jealous OVER their husbands because they know their place in the LORD.
Is polygamy legal in Canada? I guess as long as polygamist families do not obtain government-recognition (seeking a marriage-license), there is no breaking of any law, right? Therefore you protest against the "writ" and licensed marriages.
Yes, it is legal in Canada in the fashion that you have described. As far as my wives and I are concerned there is no civil writ of contract to answer to. I protest against the writ, knowing what it is, and knowing that it is but a piece of paper introduced three generations ago, that can in nowise sanctify marriage �?let alone sanctify the filth that the Government of Canada calls "same-sex" marriage. Rings and vows and paper writ do not a marriage make. Do you remember what MARRIAGE IS?
May GOD open your eyes that you should have mercy on your children and your grandchildren. Be HONEST. Do you want some 50 year old man with 5 other wives... to marry your precious young daughter? Do you want to subject your precious grandchildren to such teaching?
The LORD chose a handmaiden to be the wife of a father figure old enough to be Mary's grandfather to raise the Christ-child together. If it is good enough for JESUS, then it's good enough for me. To be sure, I would give my blessing on a marriage of my daughter to a man twice her age if he loved her and she loved him and they BOTH knew JESUS. He would certainly be more likely take better care of her than a man her age and he would likely know enough of the traps and pitfalls that most young men lack experience in avoiding. Let's put a different spin on it: He is 50 YEARS OLD. He is a multi-millionaire. Despite the fact that has five wives and marries the most physically UNATTRACTIVE WOMEN IMAGINABLE, that hardly anyone would even talk to, let alone propose to. Why? He feeds them he clothes them, he loves them, and all he asks is that they give birth to his children whom he provides for in every way that is good and becoming to a man of God. Will I judge this man? Would I judge him if he and my daughter both wanted to marry? I will not forbid to marry. You cannot BROAD BRUSHSTROKE people in BIGOTRY, Lisa. One of the greatest difficulties I have when I dialogue with you are your traps and your snares that you set forth in the form of generalities. For example:

How would you answer that question? It is a question designed to entrap you, just as you are trying to entrap me with your own vain accusations. You want to label me a "polygamist" because it is a prejudiced generalization. What if I don't fit your label? What then. What if I have precisely what GOD has called "Two Wives" and not what the world calls Polygamy? What if the HOLY BIBLE is true? Well, I imagine you will try to find some other avenue of rationale to continue in your denial. Evidently, the last thing you would do is repent and ask forgiveness for calling my wives whores.
Lisa, you assume much and do not know enough; but I love you all the same. In your mind, you have already pre-judged me the whoremonger and my wives whores and you will not repent of it. You do not desire the fullness of the truth, but rather, only what works for Lisa. I highly doubt that it is your desire to learn anything new, or to receive a revelation from God. It wouldn't surprise me if you thought in your heart that you already know it all. This is a clear indication of the strictly narrow-minded ethic, as opposed to the strait and narrow way. Sadly, many Americans today are notorious world-wide for being prejudicial bigots and your president is no exception. I would not say that you are doing very much to help dispel this image and it saddens me because I know of many Americans that are not like that and are far from behaving as though they were so gullible.
I suppose you would prefer your grandchildren to perpetuate the Roman Catholic lies and myths, or to place extra burdens upon them that some of them might not be able to bear, and to cast stumbling stones before their feet that they should not know the FULL BIBLE TRUTH about what GOD calls marriage. I admit that this is your prerogative. As for me and my family, I will encourage them to embrace every word of GOD in fullness, just as I did, prior to receiving the HOLY GHOST in the name of JESUS, evidenced by speaking in tongues. I know that this is what saved me from the world: that I was prepared to admit that ALL THAT WAS WRITTEN WAS, AND IS, A TRUE ACCOUNT. May my LORD keep me from partial truth and smorgasborg religion. You want to "pick and choose" your own selective, tailor-made, religion to ignore what GOD has called "Two Wives" and I have little doubt that you would have your grandchildren ignore it also. How many times must I show you the scriptures? Read Matthew 25... ALL OF IT ! Pray that JESUS opens your eyes as HE did mine! 1 Corinthians 5:1 speaks about a man IN THE CHURCH having his father's wife �?not his mother, but one of his father's wives! Please note that the husbandman was NOT admonished by Paul for having more than one wife! The man's son was guilty of committing INCEST because he had sex with his father's flesh �?JUST AS ADULTERY is INDEED a HOMOSEXUAL SIN! This, sister, it is the sin of SODOMY! We read that such a sin as this was not even named among the Gentiles because the Gentiles did not practice what you call "polygamy" in Paul's day! But more than one wife was still a common practice among the Jews even during the time of the Christ, the Son of Man, despite what the HISTORICAL REVISIONISTS want us to believe.
The Christ likened the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN to a BRIDEGROOM WHO MARRIED FIVE WISE VIRGINS! Christ considered it acceptable! In fact, it was so commonplace in the church at that time that it was considered a NON-ISSUE for them. Nearly everyone took it as normal and good, except the PURITANS of the age - the Pharisees, who had ties with ROME, eventually succeeded in establishing the ROMAN CATHOLIC PAPACY. Read your World History and learn! Now Lisa, all of this is determined by powers and principalities in the SPIRITUAL REALM (something you obviously only pretend to understand, or you would not speak of alters as you do) and I would caution you to lie NOT to the HOLY GHOST. GOD called it "two wives". GOD did not call it "polygamy". GOD does not lie, and in HIM there is NO VARIABLENESS, nor SHADOW of TURNING! WHO, dear sister, THINKS... To change times and laws? We do know, despite what the revisionists want to tell us, that in the fourth century a certain AUGUSTINE of ROME mandated that all marriage be monogamous. Men like AUGUSTINE are your "saints", Lisa. They are the "saints" of most churches in the so-called "ORTHODOX" realm. These men were among the first EVER to mandate monogamy in marriage for the Western World. They are also among the first to license marriage in the OLD WORLD. GOD NEVER DID IT. (Let the READER say: GOD NEVER DID IT.) Neither did the APOSTLE PAUL say "only one", "but one", "just one", or "one alone", when he testified of godly marriage to a (one) wife. Evenso, many today would add to the WORD of GOD to change the truth of GOD into a lie, as did the Papacy. I would suggest that you check the Greek; but the 1611 AKJV is sufficient documentation to prove this, provided one does not put their own personal spin on the scripture by adding the word "only" where it is not written!

Do you honestly believe you can avoid this biblical example by "SPIRITUALIZING" it? Very well then. Let's speak of the SPIRIT: How many "spiritual wives" did YHWH have? Only ONE? One only? MARRIAGE is UNION and I have indeed UNITED with more than ONE WIFE in the sight of GOD, and I am ready to do it again, if need be, and if my LORD should so require it of me, even as my LORD and SAVIOUR has also done this thing to unite a MULTITUDE to the HONOR and to the GLORY of the MOST HIGH GOD. You must be prepared to put aside your PURITANICAL PRIDE and accept your humility as a daughter of Eve before the FATHER! No one here is forcing you to "allow" your husband another wife. Perhaps you fear in your heart that GOD has called him worthy because you are JEALOUS over him. That would be between your husband and the LORD. You rule over NO MAN upon this earth! You have no authority to correct any man in the BODY of CHRIST.
