May God bless him and his family for maintaining the standard of truth in the fight to preserve the ancient land marks as presented in the original received and authorized English text.  NEW AGE BIBLES vs. ANCIENT LAND MARKS

With changing times and changing laws in North America and around the globe it is evident that for English speaking nations, any new age translations of the scripture cannot improve upon the original received text written in the English Language. Although some specific scriptures might well be better expounded upon in some of the other translations, the whole of the text is all too frequently compromised in the process of further articulation of a single scripture or word.

There is also a point at which the letter of the gospel and the letter of the law would become profitless in a sincere effort to modernize the scripture to make it more palatable, or "easier to understand", or even truer to the modern understanding of the Textus Receptus. I believe that it is at this point, that the Holy Spirit will grant us the additional guidence we require to adequately understand His word, if our hearts are sincere toward Him. A good way to check this is to study scripture in the fashion that God instructed us to study :

 Isaiah 28

1 Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower, which are on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine!

2 Behold, the Lord hath a mighty and strong one, which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand.

3 The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim, shall be trodden under feet:

4 And the glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fat valley, shall be a fading flower, and as the hasty fruit before the summer; which when he that looketh upon it seeth, while it is yet in his hand he eateth it up.

5 In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people,

6 And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate.

7 But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.

8 For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.

9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.

10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.

12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

13 But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

All Bible scripture is "in line" with all the other Bible scripture. Full Bible Truth requires the process of lining up precept upon precept without excluding any scripture from the truth as it was originally written. The simple reason for this is because all truth adheres and pertains to a single truth. What does not adhere and pertain to the Truth is false.

I believe every word written in the Authorized King James version of the Holy Bible to be the unmitigated truth with respect to the actual scripture. I believe that no scripture is open to private interpretation and I believe that it is also possible for the Lord to give any man, or woman, a revelation that lines up with all ("not part of ", but all) of the scripture as it was written in the AKJV -- even today.

I have had my share of camel soup from reading modern versions which repeat the same types of "errors" (that the AKJV has been attacked for committing) in other places in scripture -- and even moreso, so that the latter tranlations are exponentially worse than the first! Better to stick with the original. I do not worship cowhide. I reverence the scripture that was originally delivered to the English speaking saints of God for the purpose of publishing His word throughout the whole earth!

What ever little ammendments and modern day contrivances the New Age translators should like to add to "improve" upon the old scripture hardly strikes me as worthwhile. If one is so concerned about accuracy of the text one might purchase a copy of the KING JAMES GREEK INTERLINEAR VERSION which I have found to be amazingly accurate and proves to me that I am quite safe with the AKJV after all.

In acknowledging that New Age translations also open the door for even greater "liberties" I find that the end hardly justifies the means - unless of course, the means is to confuse and create division. Ink on paper cannot save people. For those who truly seek, they shall also find that the HOLY SPIRIT will come to them and bear witness of the truth... just as Jesus told me to put away my NIV BIBLE and to give her a bill of divorcement... but that's another story. Anyone who thinks the Authorized King James Version of the Holy Bible isn't good enough can think what they like. To them I say, you can keep your NEW world translations, your NEW international per versions, your NEW American standards, your NEW AGE per versions of King James translations and all your New Age Bibles, if you wish. As for me, I'm holding fast to the ANCIENT land marks that my LORD gave me: AKJV as my authoritative source of scripture. Jesus worked with it in the past, he can work with it today. No version of the Bible is going to save you anyway.
