Dispensations... are man made. They are not in the Word of God. Dispensations, are used by man to put God in little boxes... of time.

They are theologies attempt to explain, what it can not understand or receive... The things that do not fit neatly into man's present concepts of God. It is the theologian's way too feel comfortable; as he, spins and twist the Word of God, to fit his doctrine.

Scripture declares: "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever." (Heb 8:13). And again, it shouts: "For I am the LORD, I change not... (Mal 3:6) God doesn't change... He is the one constant in all the universe... the Truth, never changes.

God's ways are not our ways; neither are His thoughts our thoughts. His ways are higher... unfathomable to the natural man. It is little wonder then, that men who lack faith become confused and find it necessary to invent dispensations. It is the natural mind, that needs to explain what appears to be unexplainable... finding dispensations, where none are found, in God's Word.

For, "... without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."

By faith Able, offered up a more acceptable sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained righteousness... and by it he yet speaks.

By faith Enoch, was translated into heaven and escaped death.

By faith Abraham, when called went up into a land he had not seen... receiving the promise of a City made without hands from afar.

By faith Sarah, concieved while her womb was yet, dead; judging Him who had promised to be faithful to His Word.

By faith, all the partiarchs died not having received the promise, receiving them from afar; they, embraced them and confessed that they were but strangers and sojourners in the earth... Looking for the City of God, made without hands... Even an eternal abode in God.

By faith... we all have received justification in Christ; putting off the former conversations and the old man of this world. By faith we are born again of the Spirit of Life; New Creations in Christ. By faith, we are partakers of the divine nature of God... The sons and daughters of God; heirs and joint heirs with Jesus Christ... The Son of God.

There is only one dispensation... in the eyes of God. One Gospel, One Baptism and One Lord. From the beginning it has been by Faith; that man, receives the WORD OF GOD in faith... as his savior and God. It is by faith that all men are justified in Christ. There is only one dispensation of God; it has always been of faith. Knowing, that no man has seen God; it is by faith, that we believe that He is!

No sacrifce of man can replace or operate without faith: Not the blood of bulls and goats, nor the washing of pots and kettles, or the keeping of the law; none of these, saved anyone. They were but signs pointing the way too the One to Come... Jesus Christ. God Himself is our savior.

Therefore, it is by faith... that the excellency of His Power unto salvation, may remain with Him... That no man may boast of his own righeousness, thru works or the dispensations of man's theology.

1 Corinthians 9

16 For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!

17 For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me.

18 What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel.

19 For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.

Error... mispoken. It should read man's dispensations don't appear in the Word of God. Sorry. Need a better proof reader.

The point I was so ineptly making was that men often find God has changed when He has not... This is especailly true in His plan of salvation; which, has always been centered in faith... by the grace of God.

Again... I misspoke and humbly admit my error. God certainly has declared there are dispensations... HIS DISPENSATIONS are however, do not always align those of the theologian.

NO, RON... YOU ARE RIGHT!

Please note that in each verse I presented we read the word "dispensation" �?not "dispensations" (plural). Now this, my friend, is that classic conundrum that I keep trying to get some folks to effectively wrap their brain around. . . And I believe that GOD suffered you to set forth this prime example for our readers that they might also perfect their understanding without attempting to set limits on our LORD. When met with a simple problem in logic, most people will attempt to solve it as though it were a multiple choice test with a singular answer... They will choose answer "a", "b", "c", or "d"; but sometimes the answer is "e" none of the above, or "d" all of the above, or any combination thereof. Creation is rich with "a" and "b" answers", "a" and "c" answers, "b" and "d" answers, etc. and this is a perfect opportunity to enrich our understanding in the LORD.

Ultimately, there really is ONLY ONE dispensation... It began when GOD said, "let there be light"; howbeit, as our dear friend, Edward of the Enoch, related (prior to my ushering him out the door because he knew too much and was losing his mind as a result) . . . There is a PLURALITY in the SINGULARITY. GOD is one in every way and there is no way in which GOD is not one. I'll leave it at that for the moment and hopefully I'll have some time later to expound on this awesome truth. We would all do well to meditate on this wisdom because if we finally get this right a multitude of doors will then open for us in the knowledge that it all leads back to the One and Only Wise GOD. May He bless you in the perfect knowledge of the fullness of His truth.

I also know what you are talking about; when, saying there is also a plurality in one... Just a brife thought concerning the plurality of God as one:

Take the analogy in water H2O... It comes in Ice, Steam and Liquid... three physical forms, yet they are all one (water). Each form of water has its own body (physcial properties) and characteristics (personality).

The molecule we call water is made up of two identical adams of hydrogen and one of oxygen. Hydrogen, can represent the Father and Son both being identical; while, oxygen the life giving force found in the air, we breath can represent, The Spirit.

What is even more impressive about this analogy is that there can be no life of any known kind without water being present.

Further, the Hydrogen atoms (Father and Son if you will) are the first element in the Atomic table of Elements. Hydrogen has an atomic weight of (1) and is composed of one neutron, proton and electron... these principal sub-atomic particles are the building blocks for every element in the universe. All heaven and earth truly bear record of God... so that, man is without excuse.

Look how I have gone on... guess God had a purpose for it, He always does.

Might I ask you to pray for me... I have been troubled lately; tired more than anything else... but it is beginning to bare on me.

I am in Watertown, NY and will be going to Main; then returning home by the end of the month. I need strength and refreshing to complet the tasks ahead.

The uniqueness of GOD is characterized by an amazing principle: GOD is One in every way without exception. Only GOD is the only entity that was not created. GOD IS... One Person, One Spirit, One Soul... All flesh and all creation is limited and finite in and of itself; but there is nothing that GOD cannot do. The Person of the Almighty GOD is the Christ. Only One is the Alpha & Omega. Only One is the One and Only in every way.

Man was made in the image of the Person of GOD; but all mankind is limited as a result of the transgression and because no man can be the Alpha and the Omega but One Person in the Father. All that we are and all that we will ever be is hinged upon JESUS, the only wise GOD and self-existent ONE. Now the Christ, or Person of GOD, came to us in the name, or Shem, of the Father Who is the Spirit of GOD. The name (or Shem) of the Father, is the Christ called JESUS, even called by the name of the Father and the Holy Spirit. These are One and the same GOD in Spirit and in Truth. The weak link in the trinitarian doctrine is the denial of the Father. Christ was conceived in Mary of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit IS: the Father of the Christ and the Father of all creation. GOD is verily the Father of His own Person. No other is worthy to be so.

The definition of the edge of the Sword of the Word runs as close as one is able to arrive without reaching contradiction. On one hand, it is said that GOD is one in every way; while on the other, GOD is unlimited. I have no difficulty with this understanding of GOD; but I perceive no plurality of Persons in the GOD HEAD. I do not pretend to limit GOD, but I strive to respect and to honour His Person and His choices. The wisdom of men is foolishness unto GOD: For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. At some point we must receive Him as a little child.

The Plurality in the Singularity is a conundrum for the fleshly mind and the mathematics of GOD defy human logic; for GOD has said, "the twain shall be one" (1+1=1) And the Word has said, "These three are one" (1+1+1=1). The "dispensations" are only part of the dispensation. Now if the Wisdom of GOD has declared that 1+1=1, then 1+1+1+1 ALSO = 1 and so it is, that in this Universe, all is also one. It remains then that those who would desire to look into such things must also submit to the knowledge of One GOD with respect to levels of magnitude and powers . . . And it remains that GOD will unite (marry) and atone with a number too great for any man to count.

No other entity in all the UNIVERSE will unite (marry) with more PERSONS (plural) than the Lamb of GOD and it is by this very knowledge that many Apostolic Oneness believers still fall by the Sword of the Word, failing to bear in mind that only one can be the one and only in every way. It is crucial to understand that we none of us should be jealous over our LORD; for there is ONE in the GOD HEAD, but a multitude in the BODY and BRIDE of Christ. None of us is GOD; but if we are of GOD we are also part of GOD and we are also members of the BODY.

The flesh will ever fail us, but the Word of GOD is true. I will pray for you, even as I have prayed for you, so I will continue to pray for you. I am not quite 50 and already I want to go home; so I think I also understand what you mean. Howbeit, I am faithful that His grace is sufficient to the end and I know that I must tarry as a father once again, and as a servant until which day my Lord and Saviour takes me home. I rejoice in the knowledge that I have reached even a few with what my LORD JESUS has so graciously given me and I ask your prayers also as my enemies are great in number and my friends are few. I miss Fred.
