One of the most problematic points that you have made is the fact that many people see the scriptures through the "eyes of the law". This is the reason why so many Christians are weak in the faith, as they use the law as a measuring stick by which they judge the scriptures. This can be adequately proven because we have often seen and heard of many who now think that the God of the scriptures is Old fashioned, distant, brutal and sadistic. This is because ethics such as humanism and human rights has been allowed to permeate its way into every aspect of society, so that we see its presence in secular and religious law, and in government. It should also be recognised that we now have a generation of adults and adolescents who not only believe strongly in humanism, but who now expect to see their religion reflect the very essence of its principles in its moral practice. I have seen it often the case, where people now judge God very harshly, not because of what they understand and know of Him, but because of their warped and deceived perceptions given to them through the eyes of humanism and human rights, without so much as seeking to understand the nature of God, or the holiness of His Person.

We both know this to be true, because we have experience in seeing genuine believers balk at God's judgements concerning the use of the �?STRONG>death penalty�? simply because they perceive of His judgements as being in far excess of magnitude of the crime. Or have you not questioned believers and their attitudes to such matters, because many of them will willingly consent to the death penalty for murderers, but when it comes to anything else, such as pedophiles, rapists, adulterers, fornicators and homosexuals, they then become hesitant and reluctant to commit themselves to making any judgement. Therefore, we do have to remember what Christians are often exposed to, and that believers often hear those in government and in law often state “erroneously�? that the law of the land and of government are �?STRONG>Christian�?and are based on the Bible or biblical principles �?which we know they are not. These casual, loose and regularly made, flippant statements, does condition the hearers ear, so that they truly believe and readily accept what is being said. After all, gone are the days when teachers and pupils used to pray together at school. -or where teachers would preach a small sermon from the bible - perhaps once a week. Now, religion, especially Christian religion, is just a study subject in religious studies. Therefore, it is of no surprise that God's law regarding marriage is now considered too restrictive, biased and unrealistic.

In fact, if you consider the implications of these present day attitudes, people and society are saying that they now know better and are far more wiser and better in making judgements than God our Lord is Himself! So, you are right in your conclusions: as there is, ”more of the world in the church than there is any church in the world�? as we are now finding, and not surprisingly, that Christians values and biblical authority is being sidelined or marginalised.

Another issue we should not fail to consider is that Christianity is completely at fault for many of the problems we see in society, as it is professing Christians themselves who have both ignored and allowed the law and government to intervene, to substitute itself and to interfere in many of the critical aspects of our lives, because we do not want to be responsible, and hence it is easier to leave that responsibility to someone else.

Also, I now realise, that we often fail to recognise, that Christians themselves can be full of biases and prejudices, and we should appreciate that when Christians bring these failings with them into their faith, it does often spells disaster to some aspect of Christianity, somewhere in faith or practice.

We are definately on the same page here. Many times I've run into this sort of hypocrisy concerning corporal punishment and I often wonder how those individuals who claim to be free from sin, having given the good, old Republican "thumbs up" on executions, would be so reluctant to bring back the law of stoning seeing that they themselves claim to be clean. To be true, I never once read in the scripture that Christ abolished stoning or told the people that the law was changed. After all, Paul was stoned several times and being innocent he lived in spite of each and every stoning.

The example that is commonly given is the woman who was allegedly taken in the very act of adultery to mean that JESUS abolished stoning; but that is not what JESUS said. JESUS said, and I quote: He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. This seems to me a far cry from Christ abolishing stoning. Yet it is equally evident that the men who had considered themselves worthy of dragging this woman off to Christ for judgment were precariously teetering upon the brink of a great trespass themselves, having failed to fully comply with the letter of the law, as it is written, inasmuch as they seemingly forgot one vital aspect concerning this moral law: the adulterer. Both the adulterer and the adulteress were supposed to be stoned together and their blood upon both their heads.

Today we see ZERO penalty in our law for the act of adultery and rarely does the church ever complain that there is no penalty for such in our law. If we have no such penalty for adultery then surely there should be no penalties for the lesser transgressions as well. They can't have it both ways. Either adultery is a sin and it should be punished for the crime that it is, or all the ten commandments should also bear no penalty for the crimes committed in the trangression of these laws. For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. (See: JAMES 2)

How so-called Christians would preach concerning the mercy and grace of GOD, demanding and commanding penalties for the transgressors of the law, while in the same breath insisting that what the LORD GOD Himself plainly recognized and called wives (plural) should be penalized (though there be no law against such in the scripture) is beyond the pale. The bitter is set forth for the sweet and the sweet for the bitter. It is the epitome of hypocrisy.

Many of these would readily defend the rights of men to be homosexuals by defending the license to marry; but they would shrink from what the LORD GOD called ONE FLESH from the beginning because their own hearts are full of adultery. Pastors, elders, bishops, and deacons wonder why so many of their own daughters and churches are turning to harlotry instead of JESUS. There is no need for them to wonder. Their churches already condemned godliness and they actively defend whoredom and sodomy every time they rise to protect the secular writ of the civil contract. In the beginning it was not so and JESUS said not one jot, no not one tittle of the law shall pass until heaven and earth pass. For the record, I'm still standing. What the world calls legal is not what GOD calls lawful.

The individual that wrote that is also a member here but he rarely ever posts here. That is why I withheld his name. Tabernacle of Two Wives is another group that I started when a certain ex-member here first used the phrase in a communication that could only be interpreted as a sarcastic rebuttal to what GOD called two wives. I merely decided sure, and why not? It sort of robbed that individual of his ammunition when I readily took him up on his statement and established the group.

Tabernacle of Two Wives is a group for those who actually practice biblical bigamy and are not afraid to discuss it in a private forum with others who do the same. The writer of that article is a bigamist in another country that is more tolerant of marital practices of this nature. I suspect that before long this person will have four spouses. I find that we are "on the same page" in respect to many things. He is brilliant and gifted, very well versed in the knowledge of scripture and he is of the Oneness persuasion and faith. He seems to prefer quiet anonymity and I can't say as I blame him for this.

My openess and transparency has generated many death threats, vile communications, threatening phone calls, and all manner of ungodly threats against me. I lost my home and my son because I took a stand for the truth and much of my family despises me because I refuse to compromise the Word of GOD.

The Neo-Feminist Matriarchs are wroth with me and they plot against me. Oh yes, they even drag me before magistrates and try to make me pay the court costs; but it is going to backfire on them too, because my GOD is with me. If they try to drag me to court one more time they will be very sorry they did. It amazes me how the world so readily accepts those gays and lesbians that "come out of the closet" so-to-speak; but when a man steps forth in righteousness, BOTH the churches and the worldly despise him and are contemptuous of him.

Name-callers beware. I am not against name-calling because JESUS isn't either. If the shoe fits, so be it. Nonetheless, if the shoe doesn't fit, let the name-caller eat his shoe. . . Let him be called He who threw the shoe that did not fit and was pacified for so doing. I have vast volumes of scriptural evidence to support the scriptural truth that TWO WIVES is not adultery. They have nothing on me. I am not an whoremongerer and both my wives would readily agree that this is the case. Hope would be ecstatic if I acquired yet another wife. She wants me to find one to help her raise babies with and the wife of my youth, my Beloved Pamela, could care less what I do, just as long as she keeps my name and I take good care of all the children. She wants no part of the PUBLIC EXPOSURE and though many have tried to persuade her to divorce me it goes in one ear and out the other. Pamela knows I'm right and Pamela agrees that bigamy is not a sin.

The authorities can do nothing. Even by the letter of the law I am entitled to as many COMMON-LAW wives as I want. That is also the real reason why the MORMONS in BC are legally untouchable. If these people actually adhered to the Holy Bible and strictly the Holy Bible, I would consider joining them also. Alas, we know that the Mormon doctrines are not of GOD.

You see? This is what comes of rejecting GOD'S WORD! Because the would-be true saints of GOD are so reluctant to lift the standard and actually walk the talk, the enemy sees the standard lying on the ground and picks up and runs away with it! The standard is faultless; but it is in the hands of the unworthy and the adversary, so the unworthy have a little strength only because the saints of GOD are being kept blind from the pulpits of pastors who have been preconditioned to preach the party line that leads to CORRUPTION! The registered ONENESS CHURCHES of this present day unwittingly serve JEZEBEL!

This is why ONENESS CHURCHES have so much trouble today. They reject the truth and the ENEMY knows it! It is they that have inadverantly given the enemy power over them while the Mormons continue to receive blessings untold. Do the web searches and read about all the child molestation and wickedness also occuring in these so-called "ONENESS" churches. You may be surprised! Why isn't the government taking away their children? Why isn't the government confiscating the lands of the UPC Church retreats also? A: Because they serve the god of this world even as the Catholics do.

Any church today that signs a deal (makes a covenant) with the New World government has signed a contract with the devil and GOD calls that an abomination. I am not afraid to take these pastors to the task, but you see how they cower and hide under the skirts of their JEZEBEL CHURCH. Would you sign a deal with the worshippers of Molech in order to have permission to open a church? Well, that's what the UPC and all the other registered churches do. No, they can't have it both ways, these registered ONENESS HYPOCRITES...

There, I feel better now that I called them a name.

Thankyou for putting up with my venting

It has to be so frustrating to you and your wives...I can't imagine!

I am finding as I go along and read that the authorities are so quick to accuse people living in multiple marriages of many horrendous things..yet when the fire is out, the smoke is cleared..and no misconduct was found..there is never an apology given out publicly. Why is this?

I guess when the chips are down, people will use the Bibical scriptures to 'prove' their point in any manner in which they can..and this includes our justice system. Unfortunately...they pick and choose what to use...

Again, I have to go back to the last attack in Texas..and I can still see the utter confusion and pain in those parents faces. I've had to fight the athorities here many times over the years for custody of my children, simply due to my lifestyle back then...regardless of what I did to support my children..I was a good mother, and was not abusive! I took good care of my kids..and loved them to death. It was a very frustrating time for me, simply as I would look around, see the pillars of the community abusing their children, yet they were left alone. Because of what I did...I was zeroed in on.

I lost three of my children..my oldest son was taken from me when he was seven years old. I was pregnant with my second youngest child..and just couldn't fight any longer. The father of my twin daughters..he made off with them, and I fought that for five years in the court system...he won. Perhaps this is where my empathy comes from...I know the pain of losing my children! The two youngest ones...I fought to keep those two, and there I was a success.

People who judge someone else due to whatever reasons they have...God will not look fondly upon them in the end. One should always have a very clean doorstep before pointing fingers..and saying what needs to be left unsaid.

And, I can not understand, how do these people sleep at night, how do they get up each morning and look at themselves in the mirror and know full well that their words and their actions have caused another grievious harm? Every couple, no matter how many are included in that family unit should have the right to stand up and be proud of their family. No one should have to hide or keep silent.

I just do not 'get' it. Someone else's lifestyle does not impact mine...so it ranks up there as none of my business.

Zephyr I respect and empathise with your situation. Fortunately, I did not lose my children when they were young, but when they were grown. Now I'm not really sure which is worse. Perhaps it is better to make friends with your children after they grow up. My son is a young man now, twenty-one years of age. He and I were very close before he turned 16 and started indulging in drugs and alcohol. We did everything together and were nearly like buddies more than anything else. He believed in GOD and we had many father/son talks about Jesus and the Holy Bible.

Kaylor prayed with us more than his sister did; I was always on him about treating women with respect and honouring them in marriage; but when the day came when I actually learned what ONE FLESH means I explained it to him and also told him that I was wrong about marriage. He wrote me off as a "sicko" and became an atheist. It was "convenient" for him to do so because he wanted to live for the world. My son left home when he was 16 (old enough to get a girl pregnant). He was a man �?not a boy.

Society needs to "man up" to this reality: If she can get pregnant she is NOT A GIRL. If he can get her pregnant he is NOT A BOY. The old days were better. They actually called a spade a shovel. Back in the day when maidens and masters existed there were far less problems in society and marriage than there are now and people's lives had clear definition and meaning. The government endorsed marriage license only encouraged licentiousness by implying that the BIBLICAL UNION was not legitimate unless it was accompanied with the said license. This is a lie and they that promote it would make GOD a liar. Any pastor alive today who says otherwise is doing the work of the devil and is in league with Satan. GOD called marriage ONE FLESH and it has been this way from the beginning.

Do you see how you were so craftily manipulated by means of a lying paper writ? You chose to support your children the best way you knew how in your given circumstances and it was not a question of morality so much as it was a question of survival. Had bigamy been legal and the social stigma lifted, you likely would have gladly shared an husband with a sister wife under the appropriate conditions. BUT NO... Rather force whoredom upon women instead. Take away the children, process them, and make merchandise of them �?get them on the grid and keep them on the hamster wheel is the government's answer.

A 'Christian friend' of mine recently told me, "Why did you get messed up with that girl in Louisiana? —You could have just hired a hooker and repented afterward instead of fornicating the way you did." Can you believe it??? This is how confused CHRISTIANITY has become!!! This is how ignorant and foolish many Christians are become today. This is coming from a full grown man in his fifties who cut his teeth on the church pews, was a Pentecostal evengelist, a youth pastor, and a pillar in his church! GO GET A PROSTITUTE and REPENT AFTERWARD is considered better! Ayeeup. The churches sure have come a long way since the days of Jacob and Leah & Company.

What a horrible thing to be told by a fellow Christian! And then we sit back and wonder where on earth the world went so wrong...there is one answer...a generalization of a biblical verse..repent and it's all good.

Plus, that man wasn't taking into consideration one thing..if men quit paying..then prostitution would soon become extinct. And that would be a blessing for many girls who will become women in the future...

On a humerous note, was on the road back a few years ago in the US...on my way to West Virginia...stopped in Gary Indiana for a break...first a lot lizard tried to pick me up...now that sort of put me back on my heels...then two guys mistook me for a lot lizard and tried to pick me up..the look on the one guys face was priceless when I told him..'honey I do it for love, not for money'....

I often had this problem on the road with the men...but learned how to use humor to get around it....

I ought to know, I lived in a Common Bawdy House for a few months after I turned 21. Needless to say, it was an educational experience. You might say I was the "butler" who later became the driver for an escort agency. 1982 was tough times in Canada and I needed a place to live. (No, I didn't turn tricks and I didn't receive them either; but I learned alot about prostitution and the many common misconceptions associated with it.) Yup. Those generalizations sure do come in pretty "handy" for the hypocrites who add to the scripture what is not written in the volume of the Book. Never mind "go and sin no more". So ironic though, that you should mention that frequently forgotten fact about the Johns: If they didn't pay for it in the first place, the business would greatly diminish. Admittedly, I was actually thinking about that when I was typing my former reply in message #5.

The man (we'll call him Hank) was no "small potatoes" in the church. He confessed to paying prostitutes himself and also repenting of it later. He says he does not support prostitution but considers it the lesser of the two evils: What GOD calls ONE FLESH vs. PROSTITUTION. Now this isn't really such a rare attitude among the men in churches today (though many men live in denial of the truth). Many church-going men pay prostitutes to service them because their wives are not able to perform the duty of marriage for whatever reason. Many of these men are in high positions in the church and are otherwise greatly trusted and diligent men. They contribute considerably to the church body (and the collection plate). It is only until they are found out that they are ostracised and cry out. . . "I HAVE SINNED!!!" Yeah, yeah... NEXT. Why should I sympathise with my accusers when they condemn me for choosing to remain committed to two wives and they ask forgiveness for commiting adultery??? They should leave other men's wives alone!

This phenomenon is too easy to blame on the lusts of the flesh without considering a few other social factors that move men to do such things. First of all it is natural for many men to exercise a natural and healthy paternalism toward women. Today's society has reduced this to the cheap provender of mammon, but from the beginning it was different. Many houses in Israel supported wives (plural) and concubines from the beginning. I did a little research on the net and read a few publications on the subject. I learned that the average Israelite household contained a population of well over 20 children. This is average. Some were considerably higher and some were lower. A man's wealth was determined by the number of children that he sired. Gideon was considered a wealthy and very generous man... An upstanding member of the community with a love for the LORD. Gideon had many wives. GOD spoke well of Gideon and of course, GOD'S moral law never changes!

Secondly, there is nothing sinful about a woman in need seeking the support of a man for the benefit of her children and there are many things that money still cannot buy. Sadly, the man she turns to is more and more prevalently not her husband. War alone takes its toll on Nations and produces many widows but I have witnessed enough devastation from flat-out abandonment . . . Such dogs are not even worthy to have children, but still keep producing them. After all, it's not as though they were actually "married" they REASON. . . THIS is the sort of thinking the marriage license has produced. . . And you can be rest assured that the system relies precisely on this sort of thought. But GOD called it one flesh and GOD is not blind. When a man and a woman join to become one flesh in the sight of GOD (I don't see how it can be otherwise) they are married. License or no, they are married!

I don't believe that ONLY ONE WIFE in each of those Israelite households gave birth to all the children that lived there. Each of these households had only one husbandman at the helm. One only need to study the culture of these twelve nations to concur that it was not a sin in the sight of GOD to have more than one wife at that time and I don't believe that they were so easily cast out into the streets to fend for themselves as England repeatedly did with undesirable women and children in the 1700's. No, Israel tended to its less fortunate women. If the husband of the next of kin passed on, and the wife had not given birth to any sons by then, that manly matters were tended to, it was the next of kin's duty to take her to wife regardless of his marital status and also to raise up seed for his brother. She was not cast out to the mercy of the elements as Abraham did to Hagar. Abraham was no Israelite. But of course, we don't do it that way anymore... We are told that the Changeless One changed His mind about this and we are expected to believe it because the man in the pulpit knows better than we do (so we are told).

Today, the misfortunates are cast upon the mercy of the courtrooms and the men that deal with such matters exact a heavy tax on the worker to cause them to think that it is the poor that is bringing the Nation to it's knees. GOD knows better. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Rather they do make merchandise of the people! Our New Age establishment would rather shift the actual ownership of responsibility to family by converting it into subtle slavery and ownership of the common man. In this way the coffers are so conveniently fattened and men like Brian Mulroney fleece the nation to join the ranks of the elite, world class citizens. It is all mastered by milking the blood of the poor and less fortunate, robbing them of their rightful heritage in the LORD, and boldly pointing to their shame and nakedness (even as did the devil) to imply that the poor are the cause of our Nation's misfortunes. Meanwhile, Brian walked away with 6 Billion dollars tax free and the Queen was only too happy to knight him for his deeds. What are people like us before these elites? Was Pierre Elliot Trudeau any better? Both Canada and the U.S.A. have sold out their rights and liberties for a false "social security". The fox in the hen house has cut a deal with the roosters. The greatest terrorists of all are the ones we voted for. For once I wish these slimebuckets would offer me a decent job.

Let's get real. The children of GOD are destroyed for a lack of knowledge. Pastors in the registered employ of the rulers of the darkness of this world only preach partial truth from the pulpits in accordance with the party line. If they taught full Bible truth, they would also teach the congregation that it is not a sin for a man to have two wives, but rather it is an honour and even a blessing in the sight of GOD. Successive generation upon generation has been fed a lie to believe in a false doctrine set forth by ROME. What we would consider to be the "norm" is not what GOD set forth in His word as moral and ethical and good. YET THESE PASTORS WOULD REMIND US THAT GOD'S MORAL LAW DOES NOT CHANGE! I am prepared to take each and every one of them to the task. They can't have it both ways. Their hypocrisy wreaks to high heaven! How much more example do we need when it is plainly evident that the UNION between man and wife is now paralleled in our courts of law with what our LORD GOD called an abomination from the beginning??? What will it take before mankind finally renders unto GOD the things that are GOD's?

This is a very big matter. This is a PHENOMENALLY BIG issue. People are blind to it because it is so INCREDIBLY HUGE that they are made comfortably numb to the effects of such influence in their lives. The standard building block of any Society is the FAMILY UNIT. The mind balks at the IMPACT that it has on our social order... Marriages are bought and sold in our courts of law �?practically on a daily basis... Children are processed like products on an assembly line... Parents are no longer their primary educators... While lawyers "rise to the top" to become politicians and world class citizens and the oppressed, middle class is made to foot the bill for all so that they have little choice in being part of the solution because they're too busy running the hamster wheel to pay for the Elite ruling class. What would you do with 6 billion loonies? Yup it's all those people on welfare doing it to us alright... People on CORPORATE WELFARE.

I'm no advocate of Socialism; but any political system that goes unchecked is soon to become prey to the political and corporate wolves of this present world. What is legal is not necessarily lawful and what is lawful is not necessarily legal. I suppose that if I should ever succeed in lifting the thick veil from the eyes of the sheeple that they'll have to burn me at the stake. They're already trying to do their best. It is no big surprise to me that the people giving me the most trouble and dragging me into court rooms and LOSING MISERABLY are women who have little better to do with their time. These women do not care about my little girl. They don't care if she suffers or dies. They don't care what happens to her mother and they don't care what happens to me either. The pompous and vain attitude of women that boast of monogamy as though their works would save them from their plight are fittingly deserving of the humility they will be made to suffer for their pride. Neo-feminists are among the cruelest of people I have ever crossed swords with. It certainly isn't any surprise to me that none of them are married to me either. I only wish that I could say the same for my son; but enough of me... I'm sure many other women and sad excuses for men reading this composition will become equally indignant because they fancy themselves to be above such humility in their relentless denial of their own ungodly deeds which they have ungodly commited with all manner of ungodliness, wiping their mouths and forgetting their pasts to falsely congratulate themselves, having respect of persons and declaring themselves "clean". GOD will recompense them also; for the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness. It is not a sin for a man to have two wives.

Some will even "report" me to the authorities, hands will grease hands as usual while "other means" are sought to deal with the perceived "problem". Politics is a euphamism for treachery; but my poverty is my protection and my accusers are impotent. May the LORD rebuke them. I know GOD is with me. The Sodomites have lost and the lesbians are losers. These people care not for family but rather these are the real parasites. As they continue to sacrifice the souls of the unborn innocent to Molech in the name of women's rights and justice for all, but no amount of mammon will ever justify them in their corruption. They worship they know not what; but I know that they worship the abomination of desolation. Justice is for sale at the hands of their magistrates and our feces-loving politicians will be answerable to GOD for what they have done. These are perilous times indeed
