We need to re-establish male gender distinction before it's too late. I realize that Jesus established it aeons ago but I think we could use a few refreshers. I also think women would do well to act like the elder sisters they're supposed to be and start setting an example for the young women by establishing their OWN gender distinction. I'm not sure when it all began but it is painfully evident that women have forgotten those things that set them apart from the men. Likewise, haven't we men forgotten what sets us apart from women?

The perpetual marriage doctrine doesn't hold up any more than the perpetual adultery doctrine does. Marriage (one flesh) on earth is finite. This is one reason why the doctrine of the LDS is false.

Matthew 22

23 The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection, and asked him, 24 Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother. 25 Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother: 26 Likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh. 27 And last of all the woman died also. 28 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her. 29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. 30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

Our "soul mates" will not be our spouses in heaven. We will not be married to them because we will be as the angels of God in heaven, having no more fleshly requirements and no more requirements to raise up godly seed. The Pharisees asked Jesus "whose" wife the woman of five husbands would be. The correct answer is that she is not the wife of any those men. Jesus is the BRIDEGROOM. Yet Jesus likened the Kingdom of Heaven to a marriage that would end all marriages.

Matthew 25

1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:

4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.

8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.

12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

We would do well to ask ourselves why Jesus would even have used such an example if it were not lawful for a man to be married to more than one wife at the same time. God does not give sinful examples of Himself. Why should this be any exception? These five wise virgins represent a plurality of brides in a singularity of THE BRIDE in eternity. Is this perpetual marriage? Of a sort, yes, but this marriage (Union) is spiritual. Flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. The Neo-Catholic churches need to get this right and stop interpreting the things of God in a carnal context. Men of God are entitled to a plurality of brides if this is their gift. Some men are called to the ministry of husbandry and fail it miserably because of the oppression of the early Roman Catholic church that instituted mandatory monogamy along with their false doctrines of perpetual adultery.

The final "marriage to end all marriages" is written in the book of Revelation. It is a SPIRITUAL UNION and it is eternal... perpetual. It is not fleshly and finite. The Bride of Christ represents a singularity of millions upon millions of souls (the number is too great for man to count) who are spiritually joined unto the HUSBANDMAN (even the Son of God, the Lamb, which taketh away the sin of the world).

The (one flesh) marriage bond between spouses on earth ends at death. We are no longer in spiritual or fleshly bondage to our wives and husbands after this. The Pharisees were trying to trip up Christ with their false notions about marriage but Jesus saw right through them. Nothing on earth is perpetual except the Word of God, which will exist even after heaven and earth are passed.

I realize there are some very sick minded people in the world who want to put the Son of God in a pink wedding dress and tell us that He is the Church; but these people need serious help. They do err not knowing the scriptures. Remember: Christ Jesus came to save your soul, not to consume it so that it should perish, but to actually preserve it in eternity. The LORD wants you to have autonomy in the Church. You will have need of nothing - no, not even a spouse. If the Son sets you free you will be free indeed.

Enoch you are so right about this. Women that want to hold their husbands to the law of the wifewoman need to search their bibles more thoroughly. There is indeed the LAW OF THE HUSBANDMAN but they will not find any such law of the wifewoman. Neither does a woman have any biblical authority to divorce her husband. She may part (though even this "separation" is not preferred nor encouraged in the church) but she has no authority to divorce. Although many would desire that their marriages be eternal in the Lord it simply just isn't so. Better to enjoy and reverence it now for the small glimpse of heaven that it can be because when it's gone... it's gone.

Which is fine by me because there is a much better home waiting for us all. Jesus is one man I would be happy to step aside for: Please Lord, take my wife. She is yours.

In the feminist mind all men and women are equal.  However when it comes to personal responsibility the woman is always the victim and the man always the perpetrator. Pretty convenient!

In Aruba a woman uses alcohol and drugs, flaunts herself in inappropriate clothing, gets in a car with three weird-looking dudes, goes to a beach with them and talks sexually, if not having sex with all three and then she disappears.

All of the shows on the subject negate the fact that she was acting like a whore, visibly inviting problems with her actions and inappropriate behavior and then the mother who failed to train her daughter properly is pointing the blame to everyone else.

Then we have the girl in New York who was out at four in the morning, drunk and alone and winds up dead and raped and sodomized.  Even a man should not be on the streets at 4 in the morning in New York.  He could even get raped or sodomized by some lefty.  Even a man should carry a big gun with him and blow away any stranger coming close at that time in the morning.

Where do these people think they are?  Lala land?  This is the United States where all the sociopaths live and New York and Florida are like magnets for such.

Then we have the culmination of feminist stupidity and the villification of Humbert Humbert in Lolita, the retelling of the novel.  In the novel it is the male who is traumatized and left at a state of perpetual adolescence due to the fact that his first love dies of a disease in the midst of their relationship.  A true victim indeed.  Quite a sorrowful situation.

He goes the rest of his life trying to relocate the traumatic loss and image of his young child bride or young adult that had passed away.  Sure enough, satan offers him an image to replace the other image.  But it is quite obvious that Lolita has another spirit hidden behind that veil.  Humbert gets sucked in to that spirit and enables it and it eats him at the end and Lolita is also destroyed.

Yet the humanists blame Humbert for getting eaten.

You know, the ladies sometimes are very gullible as are some males but to invite disaster is stupidity and not vulnerability.

I know my view won't be popular.  I am not a feminist.

Here is a little bit of literary wit from someone who also knows the mindset of the feminist.

Little Red Riding Hood
Author unknown

There once was a young person named Little Red Riding Hood who lived on the edge of a large forest full of endangered owls and rare plants that would probably provide a cure for cancer if only someone took the time to study them.

Red Riding Hood lived with a nurture giver whom she sometimes referred to as "mother", although she didn't mean to imply by this term that she would have thought less of the person if a close biological link did not in fact exist.

Nor did she intend to denigrate the equal value of nontraditional households, although she was sorry if this was the impression conveyed.

One day her mother asked her to take a basket of organically grown fruit and mineral water to her grandmother's house.

"But mother, won't this be stealing work from the unionized people who have struggled for years to earn the right to carry all packages between various people in the woods?"

Red Riding Hood's mother assured her that she had called the union boss and gotten a special compassionate mission exemption form.

"But mother, aren't you oppressing me by ordering me to do this?"

Red Riding Hood's mother pointed out that it was impossible for womyn to oppress each other, since all womyn were equally oppressed until all womyn were free.

"But mother, then shouldn't you have my brother carry the basket, since he's an oppressor, and should learn what it's like to be oppressed?"

And Red Riding Hood's mother explained that her brother was attending a special rally for animal rights, and besides, this wasn't stereotypical womyn's work, but an empowering deed that would help engender a feeling of community.

"But won't I be oppressing Grandma, by implying that she's sick and hence unable to independently further her own selfhood?"

But Red Riding Hood's mother explained that her grandmother wasn't actually sick or incapacitated or mentally handicapped in any way, although that was not to imply that any of these conditions were inferior to what some people called "health".

Thus Red Riding Hood felt that she could get behind the idea of delivering the basket to her grandmother, and so she set off.

Many people believed that the forest was a foreboding and dangerous place, but Red Riding Hood knew that this was an irrational fear based on cultural paradigms instilled by a patriarchal society that regarded the natural world as an exploitable resource, and hence believed that natural predators were in fact intolerable competitors.

Other people avoided the woods for fear of thieves and deviants, but Red Riding Hood felt that in a truly classless society all marginalized peoples would be able to "come out" of the woods and be accepted as valid lifestyle role models.

On her way to Grandma's house, Red Riding Hood passed a woodchopper, and wandered off the path, in order to examine some flowers.

She was startled to find herself standing before a Wolf, who asked her what was in her basket.

Red Riding Hood's teacher had warned her never to talk to strangers, but she was confident in taking control of her own budding sexuality, and chose to dialogue with the Wolf.

She replied, "I am taking my Grandmother some healthful snacks in a gesture of solidarity."

The Wolf said, "You know, my dear, it isn't safe for a little girl to walk through these woods alone."

Red Riding Hood said, "I find your sexist remark offensive in the extreme, but I will ignore it because of your traditional status as an outcast from society, the stress of which has caused you to develp and alternative and yet entirely valid worldview. Now, if you'll excuse me, I would prefer to be on my way."

Red Riding Hood returned to the main path, and proceeded towards her Grandmother's house.

But because his status outside of society had freed him from slavish adherence to linear, Western-style thought, the Wolf knew of a quicker route to Grandma's house.

He burst into the house and ate Grandma, a course of action affirmative of his nature as predator.

Then, unhampered by rigid, traditionalist gender role notions, he put on Grandma's nightclothes, crawled under the bedclothes, and awaited developments.

Red Riding Hood entered the cottage and said, "Grandma, I have brought you some cruelty free snacks to salute you in your role as wise and nurturing matriarch."

The Wolf said softly "Come closer, child, so that I might see you."

Red Riding Hood said, "Goddess! Grandma, what big eyes you have!"

"You forget that I am optically challenged."

"And Grandma, what an enormous and fine nose you have."

"Naturally, I could have had it fixed to help my acting career, but I didn't give in to such societal pressures, my child."

"And Grandma, what very big, sharp teeth you have!"

The Wolf could not take any more of these specist slurs, and, in a reaction appropriate for his accustomed milieu, he leaped out of bed, grabbed Little Red Riding Hood, and opened his jaws so wide that she could see her poor Grandmother cowering in his belly.

"Aren't you forgetting something?" Red Riding Hood bravely shouted. "You must request my permission before proceeding in a new level of intimacy!"

The Wolf was so startled by this statement that he loosened his grasp on her.

At the same time, the woodchopper burst into the cottage, brandishing an ax.

"Hands off!" cried the woodchopper.

"And what do you think you're doing?" cried Little Red Riding Hood. "If I let you help me now, I would be expressing a lack of confidence in my own abilities, which would lead to poor self esteem and lower achievement scores on college entrance exams."

"Last chance, sister! Get your hands off that endangered species! This is an FBI sting!" screamed the woodchopper, and when Little Red Riding Hood nonetheless made a sudden motion, he sliced off her head.

"Thank goodness you got here in time," said the Wolf. "The brat and her grandmother lured me in here. I though I was a goner."

"No, I think I'm the real victim, here," said the woodchopper. "I've been dealing with my anger ever since I saw her picking those protected flowers earlier. And now I'm going to have such a trauma. Do you have any aspirin?"

"Sure" said the Wolf.

"Thanks."

"I feel your pain," said the Wolf, giving a little belch, and said "Do you have any Maalox?"

It is good for a man not to touch a woman. This much is clear. I agree with you on this, Enoch. I also noted that the demons that kept me in sexual bondage vanished after the first time I spoke in tongues. Everything changed. Needless to say the wife was not impressed. lol           But God is good.

We must tarry until He comes.
