All that music and poetry can bring much to the glory of the flesh. Nonetheless before God, all is revealed and nothing is hid. That they should be found as one flesh in the Holy Ghost they are surely found. And if they are found in Jesus then they are surely His. Let the children remain sanctified if a virgin be taken by one of His. For surely the Father is verily present in His children. When the natural father has not acquired a proper (if not worthy) suiter for his virgin daughter to the extent that he has farmed her out to a university for which she pays her own tuition and keep, attending a separate church, and fending for herself. What is this? Yet he hath no dower for his daughter. Does the Father, which is in heaven, not then provide a suitor? If she has prayed before her Maker in this matter of reproach that she should not fling herself at the mercy of the Baptist Church, and the Lord should see fit to see to her need, after nearly two decades of church and devotion, and provide for her an husbandman... it is surely better to marry than to burn. Our Father is not fleshly, but He is a Spirit and the spirit beareth Witness if two or more gather in His name. Our Father stated, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female? And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. It did not matter whether that man was the father of the maiden the suitor had taken to wife because the father was not to harden his heart if he failed to provide for his daughter. If she had to pay her own college tuition and educate herself in a public school system and fend for herself with her own money, he has already made her her own authority. She no longer lives under his roof. If the Lord has not set her aside for celibacy or other gifts she bears a heavy reproach. Now the above paragraph, containing all the red coloring that I added to it, sharply fills the law to the brim of the cup. This is the first ordinance for husband and wife: one flesh. And if a virgin marry she hath not sinned; for in the following verse the Lord of lords declares to those who would put asunder ONE FLESH: but from the beginning it was not so. What then, shall we say, knowing that the time is short and not much prophecy is left to be fulfilled, when we read the prophecy of Isaiah Chapter 4 - the whole of which can be easily quoted in a short paragraph? 1 And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach. 2 In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel. 3 And it shall come to pass, [that means "later on"] that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem: 4 When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning. 5 And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence. 6 And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the day time from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain. *** Which verse in Isaiah's prophecy are we today? Has the pillar of fire already come and gone and returned and left again? How prepared are we to "spiritualize" this prophecy? I believe we are moving thick into the second and third verse. No, I think the time for the Brothers has come to be honest. If you take a willing virgin, you don't fool the Father. If you are one of His, you have indeed been found. If not... you have bigger problems. It could well be asked what sort of father would set his daughter forth into the world to provide for her own upkeep and education, to toss her to the wolves of this world, but to refuse her the blessing of a willing husband when she no longer lives under his roof. If we should take the sword to the razor's edge to define by what authority the earthly father should hold over his spinster daughter, how much more defined is it then that his own daughter should be subject to the same rulership that he has over his wife? I should think that if such is the case, the father should have kept his virgin instead of "putting" her under another man's roof, knowing full well that she was of age. This is typical of the present establishment, where the daughter pays from her own purse to lodge elsewhere, independantly at her own expense. For we read in Isaiah that she had her own provision, she made her own bread, provided her own clothing, and shelter, but yet, it was not sufficient to take away her reproach. It is better to marry than to burn and if a virgin marry she has not sinned. Alas, I should say then that we presently witness the immersion of that forewarned New Age; and although we would wrestle with the prophecy in ISAIAH 4, many believers would still live in denial of the truth concerning ONE FLESH. So many women today have already "taken hold" of more than one man, even providing for themselves, and satisfying the course for numerous others to do the same with that same man! Many men also, in a vulgar and base fashion, prey on that reproach of women who still do suffer, and are laden with diverse lusts, and are captivated. I should say that this prophecy is presently being fulfilled before our eyes in this new age. These are polygamous fornicators, the "polyamorists" if you will, feigning to remove a reproach without commitment and without Jesus in their lives. For this reason, saith the LORD: I HATE PUTTING AWAY. I should say also with hope and promise that this new age is only a preparation for a better time to come, and that it shall come to pass , SOON and very SOON, when the Branch of the LORD is beautiful and glorious, that no more do godly Brothers take any virgin to wife only to put them away, and then pretend in their popish hearts that they are monogamous when they are not but do lie; but rather, that they take full responsibility for each and every virgin they should take to wife. Bring back the shot gun and bring back the law that JESUS never put away, or put that Holy Bible out of the court room because it does no good there. Let the Bride price be paid.
