(What ever we do, we must do IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS. So all of our names is the name of Jesus, according to a certain false doctrine.)

Do you see, as I do, a little something amiss with a certain teaching, which claims that when Jesus said, I am come in my Father’s name, that this means that Jesus is the name of the father? If that is what the statement means, then surely many others in Scripture must also claim the very same thing.

David, for instance. He said, 1Sam 17:45 Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.

See, here David made the same claim that Jesus did�?I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts. So then we must place all Scripture in harmony with all other Scripture. So this surely must mean that David is the name of the LORD of hosts.

Those lying prophets in Zec 13 had to also be the name of the Lord, for they were speaking in the name of the LORD. Here we find many names of the Lord. Gad, Jeremiah, Manasseh, Haggai, Zechariah, and many others, all spoke in the name of the Lord. So then they were in the very same position as Jesus. Then Manasseh is the name of the Father, or Lord. David said the very same words to the giant as Jesus said, “I come to thee in the name of the LORD.�?/P>

The Levites were blessing in the name of the LORD, so then Levi has to be the name of the LORD?

Paul spoke many things in the name of the Lord Jesus, so then Paul is the name of the Lord Jesus. I mean, there is no difference in this wording. If it means that Jesus is the name of the Father, then it also means that David is the name of the Lord, and Paul is the name of Jesus Christ.

Seems to me that Jesus-only doctrine has not sought for the real truth of God’s Word. They have taken one single statement and made up a total false church or doctrine from it, due to a total lack of studying of God’s Word, which they falsely claim to have.

I have given to you, in this message, proof that many other men in Scripture also came in the name of the LORD of hosts, God. Why does the Jesus-only church not consider that all of these men who came in the name of the Lord, that their name is also the name of the LORD of hosts? Why have they just decided to claim that Jesus is the name of the Father, when David also said, I come in the name of the LORD? Why is David not the name of the Father? Why is Jeremiah or Elijah not the name of the LORD? They came and spoke in the name of the LORD, which is the Father? So did all the other prophets speak or come in the name of the LORD. Then each of them has a right to claim that their name is the name of the LORD.

Judge righteous judgment if you must judge. Either get to the truth of God’s Word or stop claiming you can teach it or interpret it. You must bring it all together, in perfect harmony, not causing any conflict with other Scriptures, in order to have truth. I say the Jesus-only doctrine has made ‘ship-wreck�?of the above verses. I say they made up a total false doctrine and with this false doctrine, have deceived millions of simple souls, because none of them have taken the time to honestly study the Word of God, as Jesus told us to do.
