My fellow Americans, Canadians, and United Statists:
I am not in the habit of waving the Canadian flag around like a pair of pretty panties hanging off a car antenna. I have conceded that I live in the best country in the world. It has the most freedom, our constitution is not "on hold", we can say what we like, print what we wish, and do want we want, provided we do not directly violate anyone else's rights and freedoms to do the same. This is Canada. This is our way.
Long ago, the united Statists also were reported to have the same "live and let live" policy thriving in their nation. Something changed prior to the World Wars. When I make mention of the word "Statists" I refer to those good people living south of the Canadian border who once freely practiced an ideology that they called the Constitution of these united States of America. Canada had, and has, no such thing; but I would venture to say that Canadian culture honors this ancient Statist Constitution better than the Statists do today. What happened?
Although I am an admirer of Ron Paul and I likely agree with 80% of the things he says, I would also express my belief that the good man is a little late in the game if he truly expects to affect lasting change in the United States of America. The principle of momentum needs to be considered here, and I would say that it is more than obvious to the astute Statist voter that even if Ron Paul managed to secure the votes he needs to become the next President, the "powers that be" are likely to hijack the public votes, the same way they did in the last Federal Election, to ensure that George Bush became President of the not nearly united States of America.
Unless Ron sells out to the "big boys" which I am sorry to say he likely will, he will not win the Federal Election under any circumstances. The electoral college will see to that. Friends, the election is not nearly what people think it is. Your vote does not directly determine who becomes the President of these united States of America. Your vote is more like a poll these days than an actual vote. It is the electoral college that actually makes the choice who will be your next President. Your vote merely gives the Nation a message. So why not give the electorate a stronger message then ever and STOP voting REPUBLICAN & DEMOCRAT like a bunch of programed Zombies chasing after the proverbial carrot dangling before the elephants donning donkey suits?
As much as I respect and admire Ron Paul's political platform and his alleged moral values concerning his country, I'm also sorry to say that I have heard this same old Republican song over the past thirty years and the same old tune is tiring to say the least. All of a sudden the dead constitution matters and it needs to be resurrected every time there's an election ?nbsp;but it never is. No, not once has any President of these united States in the last century ever stood up before We the People and publicly declared that the Constitution of We the People, by the People, for the People, is fully in effect and currently ACTIVE!
If I were a civilian of the U. S. of A. (Ya'll arent citizens anymore by the way, G.W. made darn sure of that when he laid the last tattered remnants of your constitution on ice and declared it in his own words "Just a G-d damned piece of paper".) I would demand that anyone I voted for made their FIRST PRIORITY the CONSTITUTION OF THE PEOPLE! I would vote for someone who PROMISED that they would tell these United States of America that they have their written Constitution back and that not one jot, no, not one tittle of it is "on hold", but as of this day, the Constitution of We the People of these united States of America is in full effect! Now that is somebody I would be inclined to vote for if I were a U.S. civilian.
I promise you: You will not find ONE POLITICIAN willing to do that for you unless they are INDEPENDANT or perhaps Libertarian. I strongly suspect that the only way Americans south of the Canadian border are going to see any lasting change is to get out of the game entirely. I refer to the Neo-Con game that your system has developed into a nice little science, pitting one side against the other, while drawing monetary advantage from both. Please consider who prints the money and who is really in control. From all of the platforms that I have read so far, the only one that I can see that truly represents the original U.S.A. Constitution is in fact, the LIBERTARIAN platform. You might want to have another look at it:
Sadly, it is becoming increasingly clear that Statists don't want liberty. They want dependence ?not independence. The want big Mama governess to take care of them, give them their toys, and keep them running on the hamster wheel of the National Debt for the rest of their lives. Do you honestly believe Ron Paul will abolish personal income taxes? Think again. Individual responsibility is not nearly as important to these voters as the handouts they gladly receive from more socialist oriented governments.
Indulging in the proverbial fat of the land which is diminishing at such an alarming rate that war is declared on other nations whereby the war mongering Statists might live off the fat of someone else's land, seems to be more of the Republican practice than ever before. Same deal as the Liberal agenda: Make somebody else pay. No, clearly the only way to affect any lasting political change in these united States is to initiate a complete political revolution within the established system that honors both Liberty and individual responsibility that liberates the already defunct constitution of these united States of America. You can best believe that the "powers that be" will not stand for it. I submit that should this ever occur, your votes, fellow Americans, will only be hijacked once again by the same people who run your privately owned and operated Federal Reserve. The general rule is: The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. History has proven this to be the case without exception. Fresh blood is one thing ?honest blood is another. Statists that desire lasting change had better see to it that they have both.
