I just make sure they are "set" then use the curved end of the citrus peeler. |

I'm with Dionne...I've always baked the cookie and plopped the peanut butter cup in them while they cool. Getting them out...I let them sit in the pan for a LONG time to cool completely. Then I twist/spin each one to loosen it and then I carefully lift them out. I usually don't loose too many...enough that they qualify for eating now! Sandi |

HMM... How funny. Well, now ya know it can be done before you bake too. I think it saves time, and you don't have to worry about burning your fingers on the pan while inserting the reeses :-) |

I don't let them sit more than 10 minutes or they tend to stick to the pan. But when they've cooled I give 'em a little twist and pop 'em out with the citrus peeler. Michelle |

Thanks for the tips everyone, I think maybe I haven't been letting them cool long enough-silly me, for fear of them sticking! Now I'm just going to have to try again. |

Anyone try substituting Hershey's Kisses for the PB cups? I have a TON of kisses left over from a bridal shower and need to use them up. Some are just chocolate, some are dark chocolate, some are almond, some are peppermint! I have a TON!!!!! I'm wondering if they'd be good with brownies instead of cookie dough? Michelle |

In my family we
always made “thumbprints” or “peanut butter blossoms”
with a cookie dough rolled into balls, then place on the cookie sheet and press
you thumb into it to create an impression. Bake the cookies as normal and when
they come out place the unwrapped kiss into the holes. I always loved them. It
works best with a peanut butter cookie dough.

This *is* a Pampered Chef recipe! It has taken me a little while to find it b/c it seems like it should be a MMP recipe, but it is the shaper recipe on the Use and Care. I make these a lot to take skiing or hiking b/c they don't break. Ingredients: | 1 | package (20 ounces) refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough | 36 | chocolate kisses, unwrapped | | All-purpose flour | | Directions: | 1. | Preheat oven to 350°F. Cut dough into 9 slices. Cut each circle into 4 pieces.
| 2. | Lightly spray Deluxe Mini-Muffin Pan with vegetable cooking spray. Place one piece of dough into each cup. Dip Mini-Tart Shaper in flour and press into dough to form a cup. Re-flour Mini-Tart Shaper after forming each cup. Place a chocolate kiss in each cup.
| 3. | Bake 10-12 minutes. Let cookies cool in pan 15 minutes; remove to Stackable Cooling Rack.

Wow - this sounds great! I'm working up a theme show to use next year on holiday candy making - these would be a perfect addition! Here's another one a friend just gave me (she says they are awesome!): MOCK TURTLE CANDY On a microwave safe dish arrange: Small, square pretzels Top each with milk dud (or ROLO ) Microwave @ 15 seconds to slightly soften candy Top with pecan half, pressing in to slightly push candy into mesh of pretzel Will harden together form a sweet, salty treat! Enjoy and MERRY CHRISTMAS!! Marilyn in GA |

Thanks for this one - I will use it this weekend! My grandkids love the cookies in the MMP - we use sugar cookies with kisses of all kinds (really good is the ones with caramel inside). I personally like the choc chip with choc kisses. NEVER over fill the cups! that's the secret of the dough not 'mushrooming' over the top of the muffin cups. Allow to cool then twist gently to remove. I always spray my pans and cut the cookie dough into a little less than 1/2 inch circles. In other words....one roll of cookie dough found in the refrigerator section of the store - cut in half = 6 slices each half (circles) - quarter each cut into four parts. So one roll of dough will make 4 dozen cookies! Just put different sweet treats into each one. My friend mixes peanut butter into a roll of sugar cookie dough and inserts the mini peanut butter cups. they are awesome! |

I just found dark chocolate w/ orange kisses! they also have a great pepermint candy one! It's white with red stripes..... would be really cool in a chocolate cookie dough!!! Wish I had time/ energy/ and a reason to bake this year!! Made 4 doz. of the Angle Almond Macaroons to take to a cookie swap and what I brought back was plenty for us..... Maybe next year!! Have fun! |

The peanut butter cookies with the mini reeses cups are my FAVORITE!! However, the Wal-Mart brand of peanut cups come out even better...the peanut butter in them is creamier and smoother than Reeses...they MELT in your mouth...YUMMY!!! |
