I started doing the microwave cakes as a second recipe at shows in January (in the stoneware fluted pan) Since then, I've sold 19 fluted pans. At $26.50 each, that's an extra $503.50 in sales. I've attatched some great recipes to do in the fluted pan. I hope this is helpful to all and bake yourself a cake, you deserve it! :)

Ginny-- Can you post your Strawberry cheesecake micro cake recipe that you do at your May shows. That one is the best. It is a little different. I will start doing this again I had a few bad microwaves and gave up. Back to doing it.
Thanks for inspiring me.

I tried the Strawberry Cream Cheese Cake last night for our Family Night and it was great. This is definitly do at ashow for a second recipe. The only downfall from it is that I only got a sliver because it was way too many points to end my day with. But thanks for this loop. It has given me many ideas on a stone that I only use every once in a while.

The recipes can be found in the documents section under recipes. You have to find the Stoneware Fluted Pan Recipes. If you still can't find them, let me know and I'll post them again on this thread.

I do the microwave cakes on average once a week. I did a chocolate peanut butter recently, with 3 eggs, water, and peanut butter instead of oil, then added peanut butter chips. It was a lot like a chocolate peanut butter brownie.

Last week at the store I found Peach Pie filling. I made a Peach Spice cake with the spice cake mix and peach pie filling. It was quite wonderful.

it's just strawberry cake and the ingredients needed (I'm not sure if it's Duncan Heinz or Betty Crocker) and cream cheese icing. Mix the cake as directed on the box, pour it in the pan then dollop the cream cheese icing around the top of the batter, usually about 1/2 - 2/3 of the can, then bake about 12-15 minutes, let it sit about 20 then dump it out. It's very moist and yummy!

This was from another consultant who posted on this thread. i hope this works for you. Have you found the other fluted pan recipes? I love the Fantastic Quick chocolate cake and pineapple upside down.

Question about the roasted chicken recipe ... I'm assuming you would cover this with foil when roasting?? I feel like this is a silly question but I'm on meds from my surgery on Monday and I can't seem to get my brains straight! LOL

Thanks,
Michelle

Hi-
On the roasted chicken, I havent covered with foil. I just let go as is. Spices and all and stand it on the "inverter" middle of the bundt. Always turns out awesome.

You do not cover this with foil. You just plop the seasoned bird on the center part and roast until done.

I wanted to add that the Strawberry Cream Cheese Micro Cake that I was talking about is a little different from the one posted earily. I think I have to copy and paste as I am out of room so sorry ahead of time if it comes out funky. Ginny posted this on a different site and I left it exactly as she posted it so that she gets credit for it. It Also has some great HWC demo tips.

STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE MICROWAVE CAKE

1 strawberry cake mix

1 tsp. strawberry extract

1/2 cup white chocolate chips

1 (3 oz. box) cheesecake pudding mix

16 oz. sour cream

1/2 cup oil

3 eggs

Garnish: whipped topping and fresh Strawberry fans.

Five Simple steps to success:

 1. Spray your pan lightly and dust with flour (works best with Baker’s Joy).
 2. Whisk eggs and pudding mix together in Classic Batter Bowl.
 3. Add remaining ingredients, blending well with Mix N?Scraper.
 4. Drop batter into Fluted pan and microwave on high 12-14 minutes. (Watch your cake after 10 minutes if you microwave runs hot.) Works best if your have a turntable in your microwave.
 5. Invert cakes immediately, but leave pan over the cake for 10 minutes. Cool. Garnish (Flour Sugar Shaker filled with powdered sugar, tuck some mint leaves at the bottom, make strawberry fans with your Egg Slicer Plus and put those between the mint leaves!) as desired.

TIPS/HOW TO PROMOTE HELP WHIP CANCER:

I take this cake to my HWC shows as a bonus for the hostess. I know it's cooked right because I do it in MY microwave. But the time I get to the hostess' house, the cake is cooled. This is not a PC recipe, I got it from someone else on one of this loops.

So I do my intro...etc...talk about HWC and pull out the cake...and it goes something like this: "This is my HWC cake...no it won't prevent cancer, but while you're eating it, please keep in mind that if you haven't had your yearly mammogram...go get it. So anytime in the next few weeks when you remember this yummy cake...I hope it remind you to go make your appt. now."

1) Then I pull out my powdered sugar filled Flour Sugar Shaker (talk about how great this is for powdered sugar, but we also have one filled with cinnamon sugar for cinnamon sugar toast.

2) Then it's time for the fresh strawberries (I do about 6...more if you want)...pull out the Egg Slicer Plus and make strawberry fans...put them at the base of the cake.
3) Lastly, I get out my washed fresh mint leaves and Kitchen Shears. Snip off a few to lace in between the strawberry fans....it ends up looking pretty darn good!...If you really want to get fancy...use your EAD filled with Cool Whip or a cream cheese mixture...pipe it at the base before you put the strawberry fans and mint leaves...

I start wearing my pink apron NOW and start talking about this cake bonus in March and April to get more bookings...Good luck ladies!

DON'T FORGET...you can use this recipe in February too, for Valentine's Day!

Good luck!
