 u mean girth thr girth is attached to the saddle with a off billet on the right side the cinch is the long strap that ties the girth onto the horse holding the saddle in place..on the left side.....

 there is a saying that a horse<not all> are cinchy meaning they over react to the girth being tighted with the cinch.thus meaning cinchy....
