All the things you'll never do

 

I wake with fear

              Of the night ahead

                              Images of you

                                       Fill my head.

                                             I constantly wonder

                                          If you embraced the end

                                 What was it

                   That drove you round the bend?

       The hurt must have been

So awfully bad

           For you to give up

                  All that you had

                        I see you still

                                On that beam

                                         I see you hanging

                                                In my dreams.

                                                       My heart races

                                              As I cry for you....

                               And for all things

           That you will never do.

Your time was up

your light was dim

your future seemed

so very grim

you decided

That you had to go

I know you were feeling

very low

It's hard without you

Here on earth

Life just doesn't seem

What it's worth

I guess that's why you gave up

Without much of a fight

Things dont always seem

To be quite right

I hope your pain is gone

And you went to a better place

Because you had a look of peace

Written on your face

There is no easy answer

To the "why"of life

I guess there'll always be

Some good amongst the strife.

I know we'll never know

Why you took the easy way

But we'll always love and miss you

In our very special way.

Ode To Alexander Beetle

 

Now that you're gone, I am missing you so, Finding it so hard, Understanding, why you had to go. It's gonna be so hard, Just getting by day-to-day, Always wanting you here, But now you're so far away. Too far to touch, Too far to hold, If you were hurting so much, You could have told! It seems so senseless, To lose someone so young, My hearts full of sorrow, And tears that I have wrung. We will never recover, Things just won't be the same, We will remember forever, Your face...Your name...!! Wherever you are, I hope you are finally free, And when MY time comes, I hope you'll be the one, waiting for me...
