An older one, if I may--'94
I sit right here and think of them
I sit here in the sun
I'm here, right here, and missing those
Those days are far and near and done
I seem to be a wayward one
Alone to go to be alone
Sometimes thoughts of solitude
Are naught, for as I see, I'm home
My heart, she rides, along with me
Or what is left to call my own
For portions shared and given free
Are joined in yours to make them whole
So realize that yours, in turn
All of you, inside, you burn
So WONDERFULLY warm in me
To cause my tears to rise, to be
A coursing joy to wet my face
and leave me sitting in this place
(So) close and yet so far removed
(From) to and from my love in you.
So lonely
and continually denying
Yearning for the urge to
open blinded eyes
Unable to
finish the dream
Or perhaps unable to
start so many seemingly
pleasant avenues
Branching left and down
and down
Fooling The Fool with yet another distraction
Who doesn't hear the tales of open honesty*
Who doesn't see the battles of victory on defeat*
Clouded my vision
Strained my smile
Buried under stale denial
This picture gets scattered, lost on the wind
This whole to dissection, mired in sin
--turning left on the path, while the straight carries on narrow
--for my eyes trod underfoot, at the start of this path
Littered with shadows
So lonely
This thirst of desperation
Glasses fall smashing--Draining the cool, liquid of
my fingerprints
Bloody smudges on a shard of what is not to be mine
Eyes lost in contact
Mine own cast away
For you see you may see
That which I cannot watch at all
For I see I may see
That slip into my endless fall
So lonely
Crying and laughing are
nothing
but the strangest of sounds
But I'm not sure I even recall
I must leave
my path which stops short at the edge
My timely arrival
So timely timed
I find myself lost again
I don't find myself
So fucking lonely

Here lies post 879
If someone posts first,
I like cheese with my whine
Of which I will undoubtedly do
For I write this ode, with thoughts of you
I came to speak
You came to read
We traded sides
We plant the seed
I test the wind, the ear, the air
For I am he, Donjuandevulgair!
