Lovely Fall
How brilliant the trees shine,
With their colorful splendor.
In their glorious majesty,
That nothing can hinder.
The leaves on the trees,
Are changing their hues.
In the crisp cool breeze,
Such a beautiful view.
The pumpkins all ripened,
Laying in golden fields.
Awaiting carved faces,
Before winter's cold chill.
Apples for cider and pies,
Hanging heavily on the trees.
Join the symphony of color,
For the whole world to see.
Cornstalks standing majesically tall,
Waving in the bright golden sun.
The hay baled tightly in the fields,
Say that summer's heat is done.
The smells of warm fruity pies
With their pungent aromatic spices
Fill the cool autumn air with their flavors
My appetite, gently entices.
Such a wonderful and glorious season.
Nature's last marvelous fling.
Before the cold death of winter,
Makes my heart want to sing.
Fall's gentle beauty embraces my soul
Completing surrounding my senses,
And my whole inner being,
As it's pageant of color unfolds.
