I looked towards the sky today
and pictured your precious face
and wondered where you've went too
I hope it's a peaceful place
Did you show yourself to me today
to tell me you're all right
or was it just a daydream
playing tricks upon my sight
Then I thought of when you left us
too tired to say a word
the look you gave us, when the time came near
we hope you know, your sweet good-bye was heard
Kaden, You have changed my life forever
your time here never in vain
and we hope you know we tried it all
to keep you safe from pain
I will always feel the void inside
because you are not here
but I feel your presence strongly
and I know that you are near
Your chubby hands
your funny little feet
you touched the lives of everyone
you never showed defeat
Kaden, you gave me such wonderful gifts
like the way you use to dance
everyone knew you were special
they knew it after just one glance
So until we meet again
My sweet and very brave boy
I'll face each new day as it comes
and remember all the joy ...
