Singer ~ Songwriter...  Laura Wood started her musical journey nine years ago in London UK,  with the forming of her first original band "F Rock",  an all female  rock group.   This led to the forming of "Luggage"  a band that rocked the UK for seven years...   But life is all about journeys and we now find  Laura in Holland...   And she's come a long way... baby.

 One only has to listen to "Obsession" to see where her influence lies.   Reminescient of Janis Joplin,  Joan Armatrading and Melissa Etheridge,   this earthy raw style gives you a glimpse into her dedication and love of music.   As this reporter discovered,  it will touch you to the very core.

 Along  with guitarist Andrew Read on the acoustic,  they form "Duo"  a musical power house of sound.   Laura has recorded two cd's.  One is a compilation of studio recorded demos and the other,  a recording of a live performance in London a couple of years ago.
