Hey there Mr. Hipboots, Yeah, it's cool, green and shady. I sure wish my need to dos would slow down a bit. I would love to have some time to daydream and write. It would feel so good, even if it is random voices flying through my mind. I am a good daydreamer. When do you ever get the time to write? I have been trying for a month to do the finial chapter in a story I started several months ago. It is hard to leave the story scene and come back to the mood it was where I left off. Orange |

Orange I always start a half dozen things at once. When I get burned out on one, I write on another one. Because I do that, I have a little trick to put me back in that mode... Read it outloud... Not only will you catch any mistakes, but it puts your mind back in that scene. Switch |

that is a good trick switch, i find that OUT LOUD, MOVE YOUR LIPS reading is the best way to get back in the mood and frame of thought... but sometimes, i veer to another equally descriptive place and give birth to a new piece and i'm still at that place with the original - go figure?! hey orange... stop in more often... we'll help tap your brain! =dee |

StandardArtifact2 Mes 2. Wow Stand... you lined up and hit that nail right on the head... eh... once the story starts... takes a hold... you write some... then get wearied out... go away and the dialogues keep going on... The next chapter comes up even when you are already caught up with the capter before... just into the start and the ending begins... now you have stuff all over the place and your mood is following the fortunes of the story, now... and you are alienated to the locals coming around: "You on something"? they ask...as you flow out some of the intricasies... the plots the confusions... you go deeper and deeper into it... reading, reading, editing ... changing things... and then suddenly... your on chapter six now and chapter one is all wrong. Shish! heh... you take a break... and the whole thing fades away... the bits and pieces are all still there but the mortar is all used up... and you wonder about your sanity... |
