Why do I feel like something is missing? I mean, it's just an MSN group right? It's not like it's real life is it? Wrong. I feel I have made some friends at WSAM, knowing I will never actually meet you. Still, it's a place to go to escape from reality for a while. A place to have a little fun, flirt with each other, make each other laugh, make each other think. That may be what is most important. That even when some of us are down, there is still somebody who can make us laugh. That when somebody gets on their high horse, there is always somebody there to bring them back to earth. We can carry on here, or even in Facebook, but it's not the same. It feels like we have to start over. Does anybody know if the buttheads at MSN have ever reinstated a group that has been "Disabled for administrative purposes"? Another group I was a member of has the same message, but it doesn't feel the same. I didn't have any "friends" there. It was just another place to go. I can actually feel a loss for WSAM. I really hope it gets brought back. Oh well, 'nuff maudlin wordiness. Time to take a shower and get me beauty sleep. Hey Jen, ya wanna wash me back? |

Bob luv...got my scrubby...  ...I know exactly what you're saying. In talking to people last night, there is a difference in messages they send out. (people as in experienced msn group members not actual msn people who might be able to give assistance) If they delete a group, it says 'group has been deleted'. I don't know if they reinstate groups...but I say let's scream so loud in their ears, and be such a royal pain in their cushy little butts that they have no choice. |

Yes they do reinstate them.. however... for example.. the official msn group for artistic minds inc ( pay to use art license company) had to converse with msn as to what the 'violation' was and basically plead and beg to reopen the group.. it is open as we speak.... another big group - girl in my group- also had to have discussions with msn as to what they need to do to not be in violation.... there was some graphic from well over a year or so ago... she couldn't even dig to find it ... after "reasoning" with them ( like reasoning with a drunk) she got her group back... another group - an artist suzan woolcott- associated with AMI btw- also lost her group the same way.. i don't know how they got it back, but it did come back... didn't last long before it was shut down again...I'm not sure it's back... |

Okay, okay! I couldn't even get on my msn yesterday so, apparently, I've missed something. What the f*** happened? Sorry y'all, but after Bob's beeeeauteeeful diatribe I had to get down and dirty. What did happen anayway. Switch, we better set up another back up group, they're liable to dump this one. This msn is getting to be reallllllly strange! Maybe Bil better get back in the company. |

Mezzo, Cloud, et al...It was about 10:30 or so last night (Eastern Time) that the group got disabled. I have yet to find out what the issue is. For all I know, they won't even talk to me about the nitty gritty...I'm just an assistant manager... If I understand correctly, if they reinstate us, all will be there (or at least most)...if they don't, Switch is the master of preparation...he's got the group backed up (the major pages)...Let's weather this one out here...and pass the word to WSAMmies you know that they need to apply for this group if they haven't already. I'll be on all day keeping an eye out, and I'll let people in as they show up. |

MSN would have to tell you that.. the AMI PSP group I mentioned above.. never did get the specifics on what it was... I can tell you.. they had a contest- looking for 15000 posts in a chat thread- then anything after the 15000th post , random number would be picked for someone to win a pay art package...yes that number is correct.. by the time they were finished..the group had over 34000 messages for one week- wouldn't ya say that bring suspicion on the group!!??  one of those games msn frowns on... however it could also have been their "flavor of the month" with URLS as well since they were rampant in the group.... - URLs to adult content sites... if a sig tag , or any URL for that matter, a link to something..it the site leads to has adult content , your group will go poof..... also- could have been a complaint on a graphic - for example I have seen tags with art by rion vernon, keith garvey ,among others, posted in WSAM - no credits on the tags at all - these are pay to use artists thru Creative image licensing (CILM) and My psp tubes/sticker chick.. (there are four art licensing companies out there) - don't blame the license co tho.. if they get notified directly, don't complain to msn- they come to your group and politely ask you to remove the item and stop- as well as educate...if the report goes to MSN directly- they consider it copyright violation- and shut you down.. the license company has no clue and is not notified... Another scenario- with my other friend- they were told a complaint was received because of a graphic being too vulgar which violates msn COC -- something too adult... like.. a butt with a thong .... something like that... |

Probably most (if not all) of the stuff that was in the Library is in this group, the Paper has its own site, Most of Debs stuff is scattered between this group and another. There is a lot that is safe...Mykal has a lot of stuff for us too I think (photography, etc.)... It's like so much work has been put into building this lovely palace of cards, and some destructor on a rampage has scattered them to the winds. My heart is heavy for Switchie who has busted his ass to keep our playhouse open. Others have chipped in, but he's the man. |
