Interesting post, Lynn...but I'm certain it is nothing to worry over.

 

I never really understood that particular piece of advice from that member, "never raise our own vibrations." Our thoughts, actions, and intentions result in a raising or lowering of our vibrational level. We are here in this lifetime to grow and learn as spiritual beings; this growth and learning results in a (hopefully) higher vibration. It is what the Lord wants us to do - so how can it be a bad thing?

 

During Reiki (which literally means God-Guided Life Force Energy), we are simply vessels for God's Light & Love, likewise during an attunement. Reiki should never be draining since we aren't using our own energy (we're allowing the Lord's energy to flow through us into another). I find it peaceful and loving as well, and we totally should since we benefit from it as much as the recipient does...talk about a win-win situation, lol.

 

Lynn, you're definitely here to help others (your symbol is quite evident of that ), and you, with the Lord's guidance and love, will make a difference in so many people's lives.

I agree there is nothing that I would be worried over either.  Here's my opinion: -

 

-We have free will, therefore we can raise our own vibrations if its a good thing or not.

With our being able to influence our own Auric Fields, this is possible, yet as to raising ourselves up in the levels of Spirit, (i.e. planes or dimensions higher than we are now currently at)-- that comes directly from our being improved upon by our own merit, and then tested and judged by the Lord and His team of Angles and Spirit Guides who are evaluating us.  We are not able to just move ourselves up into a higher dimension for example, just because we desire it.  We have to do it the established ancient way by earning it.  We can via meditation and prayer be able to calm ourselves down and to do that "be still and know that I am God" connection to our Holy Father and of course influence ourselves with positive feelings and improve ourselves in positive ways here on Earth. 

As to your question/statement:  Reiki does come from the Universe/God. It has healed every illness and disease. Reiki comes from God, is sanctioned by God if the person whom God has bestowed this wonderful gift upon is granted this to use to aid others. It can heal all illnesses provided that God has decided that the existing medical condition that is most likely Karmicaly related is to be removed, and this is decided by God. So basically when we are working on someone, we are asking if God will allow this person to be anointed and blessed with a healing, and if so, then the Arch Angels will come and participate sending forth energy and encapsulating it via the Holy Spirit Wavelength, thereby sending it down via that connection through to the Conduit/Reiki Worker and into the patient, or even directly through to the patient without sending it into the Conduit/Reiki Worker.  -

 

"when you get an attunement, your teacher is passing his energy on to you...I am not sure if thats good or not.

When you get an attunement, it is done via the Holy Spirit, and yes you can summon an Arch Angel to the ceremony, but it is not coming in any way shape or form from another person here on Earth. It comes directly out of the Heart Chakra of the Holy Father and bestowed onto the recipient.  The Arch Angels are therefore able to afford the Earth Person who has earned this attunement to now have a higher level of connection via the Holy Spirit if it is God's Will.
