Mary, Glenn Beck did a monologue about it on his radio show the following day.  A pilot called in to exclaim about how very difficult that landing was for the pilot to make. 

 

And it turns out, according to Glenn Beck, that the particular pilot captaining the accident plane had 39 years experience with the commercial airline, plus had flown in combat as a young man and it happens he is one of only a handful of commercial airline pilots who also is fully qualified to fly gliders.  (After losing BOTH massive engines of the Airbus plane at the same time, that pilot flew the enormous jet AS A GLIDER!)  Perhaps that man's entire life purpose was fulfilled by his being there that particular day to save those people.

 

Furthermore, just minutes before the accident, the Hudson river had been closed to boat traffic because of the freezing cold conditions.  (Usually, that area is clogged with boats of all sorts.) 

 

When the plane stopped, it was only feet away from tugs and ferries which hurried to rescue plane passengers. 

 

There's just too much there to write off as coincidence.  God's hand steered that plane to safety.  It surely is a reminder that no matter how dire the situation may appear He is still there, and He is in control.
