Thought I'd mention that I'll be in chat here for a while if anyone wishes to chat.

I am really sorry I was unable to get into the chat room. I check the chat room on Aimoo. I was able to get into the chatroom. I am so disappointed I really was hoping to meet a few memebers, talk about my dreams maybe next week. Thank you, Mary

Oh I'm so sorry Mary.  I've been online all this time and no one's come in.  Did you sign up for sparkpea?  I clicked on it and it works for me each time. Maybe we should try out our new chatroom at Aimoo from now on?

Blessings,
Lilly

Tried out our new Chat Room over at our Aimoo Forum and it works great! With so many glitches with our SparkPea server, it's a relief to know that Aiimoo's version of a Chat Room is efficient and offers many options as well.

Blessings,

Lilly

I'm not very computer literate! How do you get to the chat room at aimoo?

Hi, Buckeye,

You just go and check into the Hope From Beyond Forum and on the top bar there lists all of the features. It says "Chat" and click on that.

Blessings,

Lilly

Wow, I'm either not at the right spot or I'm blind, but all I see at the top is aimoo, profile, images, favorites, inbox, & control panel.  I'm sorry for being a pain! lol

Hi Buckeye!
Once you're in the HFB page, you will see this just under the "Welcome To Hope From Beyond" image.
Click on the "Chat Room" link, and you're in!  Don't feel so bad, it took me several attempts to figure out how to post on there, lol.  Once you get the hang of it, it's easy.  Some of us have tried out the new chat room and it's full of really cool new features.  It's very nice to actually have a chat room within our HFB group.
Hope this helps!
~Mandi~

Hi, the Chat Link is on our side-bar column, SparkPea, (the phunny name ).

I've tried out our new Aimoo Chat Room and like it much better.  It's always working and has a rich-text editor for options.  Say, I saw what you asked over at our Aimoo Forum about Yuku, and yes I did try out with a test group there.  What I found was that with Yuku, each post has inside the text box a large advertisement that is half the size of the text box which made the posts in a narrow column, because of the encroaching advertisement. Their posting box was small, so the first post in a thread was only six words across width -wise, because of the big ad inside the posting box.  With Aimoo there was an advertisement placed in-between the posts, but not encroaching into the members text box, so if members posted say a photo or a gif. picture, their display would not be messed up by an advertisement.  I also as soon as I made an Aimoo account have been steadily getting new members applying and yet when I went and checked Yuku, there was not a single new member application, so that tells me that we will grow there with Aimoo and reach out to help more people.  I made about 30 forum test groups at all the major forums the end of October and tested them out as thoroughly as I could before arriving at my decision with Aimoo. I know that Yuku offered a migration tool, but they have now cut that option off, saying that they have had too many requests to transfer groups over, and I didn't like how they were going to migrate the groups either. They reported that they wanted to have my password to MSN here so that they could contact the members and send them a notice themselves, and that wasn't what Aimoo did at all.  All Aimoo asked was to have the group not made private so their autobots could come and migrate the pages.

Peace and Blessings,

Lilly
