Oh wow, Debra, I am so sorry about Frehya!  Two surgeries! I am very glad they could save her, and that she will be fine.  At least you had that option of rectifying it vis surgery which means a lot.  I am sure that Frehya is quite anxious to return home when she sees you on those daily visits, and I pray that you will be able to take her home very soon.  I pray that God will aid both Frehya and you in this very rough time.

Frehya is doing much better.  They will take her off the IV, tomorrow (Friday).  We will bring her home on Saturday.  She will have the stitichs for another 10 days so we will be dealing with the "cone".  She is only a 60 pound pit bull, but she has a massive neck and the cone she has to wear is bigger than any lamp shade we have in our house (Almost).  It is huge!  And she loves the cone (you know I'm not serious).  What a sight to see.  Paul and I always said that we wouldn't spend  thousands of dollars on a dog.  But when it came down to it that thought went out the window.  Pits, in general, live to be only about 9 or 10.  Frehya is 12 and our vet says she is a miracle.  We should have her for a few more years, God willing.  I thank you for your prayers and concern.

Merry meet to all,   I have been a bit weepy these past couple of weeks.  Our son and 3 youngest grandchildren live in Florida.  The youngest who was born this past January, has never met his Oma and Opa.  Yesterday, my husband surprised me with a week in Florida.  I am so excited!  I leave on 13 August and return on 20 August.  I can't wait to get off the plane and see 3 sweet little faces waiting for me in Orlando.  Due to my Fibromyalgia and numerous other medical conditions, I will be staying in a hotel not far from my son's home.  I have so much to do before leaving, mostly doctor appointments.   I have another reason for posting this.  If there is anyone in the community with Fibromyalgia, or the many conditions that go along with it, please contact me as I'm sure there is much we can share.  I have had this hateful condition since before a name was put on it.   I'll be checking my mailbox often while in Florida and will be very happy to hear from any of you in this wonderful, warm community.   Blessings,   Debra

I say Bio-feed back, Reiki, Reflexology and maybe even a personal trainer.  Some personal trainers specialize with this disease since it attacks the muscles (right?).  This helps the body to get stronger and repair itself.

 

One thing is for sure, always see the best.  Ask questions, check into the courses they took.  Ask to see their liability insurance etc etc.  Price should not be a factor.  Don't see someone cheap just because of the cost.  They are that amount for a reason.

 

Please don't ever give up there are healers out there.  I know of an amazing Master Reflexologist.  I know she can help you but she is here in Canada.  She is world renowned and her past clients include Royalty and she still sees world class opera singers and athletes. I have never met a woman like her.  Her schools web site is
