Celery!!!! That's right! so if you have indigestion grab a stalk of celery, just a few bites actually and you will have instant results. As Matt and I had over-indugled this holiday season, we were able to give it a try and it really does work!

First I must agree with Orchid - Celery, I rather have indigestion - Now the second part of this is I am not supposed to have indigestion - I had my gallbladder remove a long time ago �?

Though recently I been having dealing wiht indigestions and I been wondering why. My choice of medicaine is TUMS Though now I am hoping Debbie you and Matt are eating tons of Celery, because I think I am feeling your Indigestion –Do not get me wrong I Love the idea of being connected but is where I draw the Line sharing indigestion -

Now after all of this said I did not even realize this board existed �?and I did not even know how I open this board....

awww come on guys, alittle celery never hurt noone! LOL As long as Matt and I eat right we don't get it, but like I said over the holidays, well lets just say it was a free for all! Lisa, I had my gallbladder out about 15 years ago and my Dr. said I would be prone to such things as indigestion, stomach upsets, etc., if I didn't eat right. I'm telling you a couple of bites of celery does wonders! Give it a try! Oh and Lisa, we will eat better so you don't suffer from our indigestion! LOL!

This is going to sound strange but you know those aftermints one gets at resturants, they work as well. In actual reality it's the Mint. If you notice it is put in alot of digestive aids like Malanta etc. So if you have left over candy canes from Christmas they will do as well. Yogurt is also another calmer.

I sooooo agree with TAZ peppermint - over celery, anyday - Now just so you can laugh as well this kew doctor asked me yesterday if I been having  a lot of indigestion - I said No but Matt and Debbie are he look at me like I was crazy  - then I said I hope your not going to asked me to start eating celery, He said what I laugh he said no Heart issue cause indigestion - I oh really he said yeah what about celery I said Oh nothing...

For you acidic folk... 
 
1/4 teaspoonful of ordinary baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) in a half glass of water should put out the fire quickly with no bad side effects.  Not as tasty as celery but cheaper and has a longer "shelf life."  (Drink it fast and you won't even taste it.)

I tried your remedy and I can't believe how good it really works!  I had heartburn a few minutes ago and I tried it and now it is completely gone.  Thanks for sharing this terrific idea.  It really saved my stomach!
