Hello people,

 

I am typing in dvorak layout right now, of course, I am still not at my normal speed on the qwerty yet. Lol! More practices needed. I just wanted to comment on how much better it feels since it requires less finger moving since in dvorak, it is designed to have the most common letters on the home row (75%). It has so much benefits and I'd like to have more people being aware of that wonderful layout that have been recieving under attention for years because nobody wanted to switch.

 

There's a wonderful webcomic that covers the history of dvorak and tell you why you should switch and if you want to switch, this site has plenty of resources to get you started.

 

 

It could be useful for people who suffers from RSI or anything related to that. I suffer with carpal tunnel and for now it is under control. I would like to keep it that way! So that is one of the reasons why I am making a switch to dvorak. It is my 5th day on it and hopefully I have enough of patience to stick by it till my speed is back to normal. Lol wish me a good luck please!
