   I am so sorry to hear about this. It is always so hard to say goodbye to a beloved fury friend. But you are doing the right thing and she will be greatful to you for helping to escape her worn out physical body. I am sure that her love and devotion for you and your husband will remain constant after her crossing and I out the request out there that her spirit remain close to you and your husband...close enough to feel that is. I am sending energies that will help to heal, calm, and make the transition smooth and as painless as possibly for all concerned.

Well I took Baby Kitty in to the vet and I do believe she knew what was up.  Usually she is a real fighter and you cannot get a cat cage near her.  It was no problem getting her in the cage and she didn't meow all that much.  I could put my hand near the carrier and she licked it and loved it.  This is not like her as she used to tear you apart if you even got near it when she was stuffed in.  At the vet's he was late.  Kind of like my luck.  But I let her out of the carrier and again she was pretty docile.  She stuck right next to me until we went in the back.  He had a girl come in to hold her and I told her no I would do it as it was the least I could do for poor kitty.  I was and still am bawling like a baby.  I am at work writing this though.  I don't think I am goign to be really productive today.  I asked Freya to take her on her journey and I am sure that my request was honored.  At least now she is at peace and not hurting any longer.  She is in a better place running in the sun chasing the birds and butterflies.  She can now go and visit my husband at his apartment where he works and keep an eye on him.  I told her I hopes she visits often with us at home and now she can play with the dragons and fairies that teased her in this life.  It was a hard thing to do but a necasary one.  She was pushing 20 and wasting away to nothing.  She didn't eat much anymore and hurt.  She had her good days and her bad days.  This was a good day for her.  In retrospect even though I didn't plan it this way it was probably a good time as it was Summer Solstice yesterday.    Anyway thnaks for keeping us in your thoughts it really helps.
