Covens
A Coven was traditionally made up of thirteen people who gathered together to practice witchcraft or wicca. Today it only takes three people to make a coven. Covens meet generally to celebrate moon rituals and of course the sabbats. Covens are a lot like families and intimate bonds grow between members. Once a coven gets so big you will often find that they break off and make new covens with members that have more in common than the rest of the group. The head of a coven is known as the high priestess or priest depending on the gender of who started the coven. A lot of us here are solitary practioners and that is ok as well. You don't need to be a part of a coven to practice your beliefs in any kind of formal manner.
