Greetings All.

    First I would to thank you for all of the positive energies that were sent to the little boy (as well as his family) I wrote about last week. I spoke with his grandfather  and thought that I would update all of you on the little guy's current status.

    The lil' dude made it through the weekend with not nearly as much sickness as the family had anticipated. By Sunday he was able to eat and keep his food down.

  The family found out this weekend that one of their friends is throwing a charity event in the lil' boy's honor. The money raised will help to pay for the mounting medical bills. Let's all hope that the event is a huge success! Not long after finding that out the family was informed of the large amountof media coverage that is going to be given to the event....by a complete stranger who just "heard" the about the families needs and the event. Also, a friend of a friend of the family is involved with a large group of bikers who are planning to hold their own find rasing event. Awesome news!!!!

    I do need to explain a mistake that I made. I wrote(in my previous post) that the little boy's sistter was also ill and that she was five years old. I was wrong about her age. She is only 9 months old. She was born with lung problems and didn't come home from the hospital for the first five months of her life. She was diagnosed with Acid Refulx and had to have a G-Tibe put in so that she could recieve the nurishment that her little body needed. Well, baby girl is home now and doing much better. The G-Tube came out last week and over the weekend (here is where I think our prayers made a difference) she was able to eat and leep down 5 ounces of food on Saturday and then on Sunday she woke up very hungry (which is not normal for her) and shewas able to eat and keep down 5 and a half ounces of food. Hooray!!!!!!!!!!

   It was obvious to me as I spoke with my friend at work that many of the events that took place over the past weekend came as surprises and little miracles.
