Merry Meet, I was looking on the net today and found this idea I wanted to share with you, when I saw it I was thinking of my alter for harvest time. | Summer Lights SUPPLIES: �?Electric Burner �?Candle Wax �?Candle/Candy Thermometer �?Assorted Dried Flowers & Fruits �?Cookie Sheet �?Disposable Containers with a Waxy Lining (Example: Milk Cartons, Ice Cream or Juice Containers, etc.) �?Scissors �?Glass Votive Cups �?Acrylic Sealer �?Aleene's® Designer Tacky Glue�?/H3> INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Over low heat, melt wax in double boiler to 180º until completely liquified. DO NOT LEAVE UNATTENDED. 2. Cut or break up dried flowers and mix together. Set aside. 3. Place cookie sheet under disposable container (in case of spill). Fill containers with dried flowers. 4. Next, fill containers with wax to within two (2) inches from the top. Let wax harden until it begins to set up and can support votive cup. Set votive cup in wax. (See photo). Press more dried flowers around votive cup to embellish candle. Let harden completely. 5. Peel containers from candles. Embellish candles with acrylic sealer. Glue into place with Aleene's® Designer Tacky Glue�? | TIP: If candle wax is too hot when poured, containers will not peal easily.
