We each respond to specific crystals and their energy. We are all unique as are the crystals we work with. Every healer learns in different ways but the most important way is through our personal physical and mental experiences. Gather together a small group of stones. Cleanse them all before beginning this exercise.
Simple cleansing method: Run the crystals through the smoke of your favorite incense or special burning herbs you have. I use the four sacred herbs (tobacco, white sage, sweetgrass and cedar).
Step 1: Hold the stone first in one hand then the other. Note any specific feelings. Begin a journal of your experiences. Get used to recognizing the changes within your own body with each stone.
Step 2: Once you are done holding the stone place it on the table before you and just gaze into it. Pick it up once more and notice any changes within. Close your eyes and sit with the stone for several minutes. Again write down your experiences.
Step 3: Repeat step two several times, and each time take special notice to any changes. This helps you to get to know patterns within your stone and yourself.
Step 4: Place the stone on each of your chakras for a minute or two and note anything of interest, changes etc.
Step 5: Keep the stone with you, in your pocket, purse and under your pillow for a week or more. Use this time to get to know your stone intimately. If you go to sleep with the clear intention of wanting to know more about your stone, your dreams might reveal to you the properties of your stone. Finally leave the stone home and note any changes over the next week regarding your attitude, how you feel etc, how you act towards others and they to you.
Step 6: Repeat Step 5 and make note of anything you learn in your journal. |

Thank you for this. It sounds like a very simple method and something anyone can do. I have crystals and stones here that I haven't gotten to know yet, I think I will give this a shot. |
