When I started down this path I learned that many people had their own magikcal name.  So I decided to make one for myself.  I knew that I wanted Mars to be apart of it.  Mars was my cat who passed away this past May.  He was my soulmate and best friend.  He was loyal and very loving, all the qualities I want to possess or work on I should say.  So then I needed something else to go with it and decided on the word blue.  First it's my favorite color, it has a soothing effect on me.  I also looked at it's magickal qualities and saw that it means spirituality, wisdom, peace, something that I have been looking for when I started down this path.

 

At first the name didn't seem like it fit.  It seemed weird when I would write it down.  But the more I did use it the more I found it really did fit me. I even had tried to come up with something else but kept coming back to BlueMars, so it stayed with me.  Now I can't see using another name.  :)
