MM everyone! Does anyone happen to have a poem for a new baby? My friend is not pagan - but I would love to have a poem that brings to life all the wonderful things that life has to offer a new baby - what the elements will bring him. The new baby's name is Cameron. I'm not that talented to create one of my own. Maybe you have a poem laying around somewhere that you wouldn't mind sharing?

Thanks so much for your time.

Dear Mommy,

I was just a thought ..within a future you sought..I was created from a love made..that will never fade...I was carried with love abound...I came forth with a joyous sound...I screamed and kicked as I came...Cameron I was so named...Tears of joy washed down your face...as you and daddy finally saw me face to face...My path I chose for me...I wouldn't want any other mommy and daddy you see...

I came up with this...I hope you like it...

Blessed are you baby Cameron

You have come from your mother the Earth and to her someday you will return

May your hands know the pleasure of digging in the earth, planting seed, and watching other life spring from her

Blessed are you sweet baby Cameron

Your lifes essence comes from the water

It is the water that cleanses you inside and out, May you grow to never fear its cleansing power

Blessed are you wonderous baby Cameron

Your very breath comes from the air

May you always breath pure unpolluted air, May your lungs never feel the suffication of disease

Blessed are you the mighty baby Cameron

The Fire of emotions will stoke your soul, but be wary , Use your passion has a tool to build life, Never to destroy

May your life be filled with the Fire of Passion, the warmth of love from your parents and others, may that fire never be quenched

blessings

Jim
